This is beating a horse 10 years dead at this point but the reward structures for this game really have to be changed drastically. 10 years of seasonal, borrowed power, gear resetting. 10 years of impermanence has left the game feeling ephemeral, flimsy, fake, like everything is made out of paper mache.Why would I push high keys beyond some vague sense of personal satisfaction to see the number go up?What’s the incentive? The guilds where a trial was longer than 2 weeks were guilds where the trial rank was something you just had on for months and it meant effectively nothing,(echo and limit are also like this btw) all it meant was you had an active trial thread up that your raiders can voice complaints in.
