I feel like I’m getting weirdly obsessive about Deltarune in a bad way, mostly because of a fanfic I’m working on. I keep putting characters I like through bad situations where they go through horrible trauma/suffering and it feels like I’m taking out my own previous (and some current) mental issues and trauma and stress on them.I love everything I write and writing what you know makes for a better story pretty much every time, but it upsets me that I only seem to write about people suffering or going through horrible things. Even my happier stuff has some kind of implied sadness/past trauma at certain points.What worries me the most is that by writing about this stuff and almost purposefully putting it in stories, I’m dragging myself back down into it.
