>>537409384I never raided in Vanilla, but I think people are talking more about the quests. Even AQ, the war effort was just giving and doing what you could in order to open the gates. It felt grand, way larger than yourself, and yet you could be a part of it. The quests in Vanilla were mostly something a nameless soldier or a group of them could accomplish. No one was calling you hero, champion, lord commander, etc.
