Just finished reading the event and it was pretty good.Towards the end it got kinda confusing with what I think were previous plot points being tied together, though I didn't get much of that. Otherwise the story was self-contained enough to follow. Reed was nice thoughout the whole thing and I'd be happy if she ever spooks me. Like nice is an understatement. I like Reed!Brigid didn't leave that much of an impression and I guess she's completely new in the story. Brigadier easily takes the top spot of unlikeable characters and Eblana is a close second. I don't know what she was like before, but this did NOT make me want to roll for her.

Do you guys have a certain period of time playing Arknights that you tend to look fondly back on despite it not being necessarily great? I remember just starting out the game right before the Invitation to Wine rerun. It was storming and dark outside so I just spent most of that time just playing and reading the event and really struggling because I had no idea about the Ethan strat to deal with the flying enemies but I had been steadily making progress. Maybe it was the weather outside or the atmosphere of the event but I had been feeling really comfy just sitting in front of my PC wrapped in a blanket with my phone in hand. And when I had finally reached the boss event stage my mind was kinda blown and I actually felt intimidated because this was nothing like what I was dealing with up until then. I don't know why but when I remember that time playing I kinda begin to smile to myself.
