I played Portal for most of my playtime, currently A2 wildly hovering between Ruby - Diamond. I feel like often Portal is not that great, but maybe that is me. I am interested in Control Forest or Disdain Dragon. Its like set 1 Spellboost where when it works its frustrating because the win comes out of nowhere and it feels like there's nothing you could've have done which is why so many people talk about it, but when you dont draw exactly what you need it loses hard.Spellboost got rid of that problem with more card draw in set 2 so we'll see what happens with loot.

The actual reason to play sword over the other meta decks is it has the best mirrors of them. Crest haven and egg portal mirrors are 30 minutes of purgatory, rune mirrors are borderline coinflips, but sword mirrors are quick and tight.There's still obviously lots of variance, but that's all mirrors in card games.
