This game has been out for 9 months and it is still unbalanced, unplayable trash. That's the real story here.Blizzard got pilloried for le 17 damage hurricane in D4 yet half the skills in PoE 2 this patch do 1/50th the damage of basic attacks.

Act 4 is high quality contentGame FeedbackI'm not talking about endgame, haven't got there yet, but today, I played an awesome single player action rpg game, with rich lore, many Voice Acting, plot twists, dialog humor (playing Witch), nice visuals, rich details, high quality world design and I forgot I was playing a Path of Exile game. It looked just like a nice and top notch a single player rpg.I don't know if this is because I wasnt expecting such nice quality or what, but I really enjoyed it.In comparison, just Act 4 alone, with this amount of content, quality, details and lore, would easily be a $30 USD expansion in Blizzard hands.... I really feel like we need an extra skill slot or two baseline without Unset ringsif they want us to combo shit they can't have all your skill slots eaten up by persistent buffs; in PoE1 you could put multiple skills together in a 4-link to double-up on supports to save space, or have some unlinked one-offs, whereas in poe2 you get just NINE skills for both active and passive buffs. That's way too few for "combo" focused gameplay, and no fucking autoattack being free doesn't count to raise the number. even 10 slots baseline would help a lot

I'm a soulsfag and let me tell you about something i learned about game design by playing souls games and watching others play them; most people hate multi tasking. its not just that most people can not do it, its that a lot of people get a stress response when they try and do it. Less than like 5% of people can do it well, around 25% of people can sort of do it and even enjoy it, the rest (70%) get mini panic attacks and their brain freezes up, these people will not be inclined to enjoy thinking about combos in a game where a lot of their attention has to be diverted to avoiding boss attacks and coming up with tactics to deal with multiple enemies.Souls is basically two buttons, attack and dodge, and the souls fans flip their shit when they have to fight more than 1 enemy at a time even if those enemies are doing well telegraphed basic attacks. In poE2 you have a pack of enemies on the screen + a boss + ground effects and in trials you have traps and more effects on top of that. It is too much for the average persons brain and even if they can get through it its going to feel like a stressful experience. Making the players damage come from a combo is just adding an extra layer of tasks they have to do/
