I did my last seven scenarios with different mixes of guts cards. 4 guts 2 speed works pretty well to demolish campaign and get A's, but I don't think it's really that good after trying it. You just can't combo it with anything to make your uma well rounded with enough stamina or speed.

When the stat is 1 and you fail the wit check the game doesn't know what to do because 1 is the lowest your stat can be so it sets your stat to max instead. Wit does not get buffed/nerfed so you will fail basically every wit check and run at 1200/1200/1200/1200/1 for most the race.It's not really meta because your skills fail all the time and you will run out of Stamina cause of no recovery skills but it can work sometimes and it's funny to pull off. Got fixed in JP a few years ago though.
