Why do I find Roach the least fun deck to play despite it being strong?Managed to get my first OTK and it didn't even feel good.So much of it feels like simply hoarding cards and hoping your opponent doesn't do anything and if they do you happen to have the exact perfect answer or draw power to recover from having to dump combo pieces to live.Not to mention not drawing X card often just kills your entire game at times regardless of what your opponent is doing.Losing feels like you weren't even really playing the game and were fiddling around with cards doing nothing.Even though I have the math down instantly now the execution time puts pressure since you have to trundle through all the animations and be careful not to make mistakes.It's not a very relaxing archetype at all.

Emmylou might be the most awkward card in the game. Her cost reduction effect works on spellboost, so you'd want to run her with a lot of spells or cards like Anne&Grea or Kuon ; but her fanfare is only good if your board is filled with golems, which realistically can only happen in a pure dirt deck. It also requires evolve ; so she's basically the worst card in the game if drawn late.

I tried making the truth package work (even spending 7k vials on Velharia) but it's just pretty bad. You can draw a lot of cards and kinda keep yourself afloat with Congregant of Truth and the guy that deals 3 to all minions but the issue is that you have 0 finishers. Rune has 3 finishers, 2 of which require spellboost (Kuon, Satan) and 1 of which requires a LOT of dirt (Lilenthim), and you can't really fit any of them if you use the complete truth package.

I have been playing Mode Abyss non-stop since Set3 released. All of Set2 I played D.Climb Rune.Anyways just for a laugh I played my D.Climb deck again, and it is so much easier than Mode Abyss. I think I might just go back to grinding with D.Climb so i can turn my brain off and get some easy wins.
