It's kind of a shame that we didn't get to see Cerydra earlier, but I think her backstory is interesting. Basically a replacement princess who eventually overthrew the rulers of the kingdom and burned them to death. From there, she kind of just started conquering everywhere else for the sake of overthrowing the current rulers. Even though Hoyo in the side material focus on her law side, with the laws she made and punishments, she's kind of just rebellious as a person.
