So, purely from a narrative standpoint, why does Takumi not immediately go, "Fuck this, this is going horribly" and abandon the timeline and reset again as soon as Gaku dies in the kill Eito routes? Obviously we, the player, want to see how the story unfolds, but Takumi literally only chose to go through this 100 day crap again at all because he wanted a happy ending for all his friends. The moment people start getting offed there's no way he actually thinks, "This is still preferable to a world where everyone is alive except Ima, Nozomi, and that wrestler chick I technically never even met".
