Kinda good against a lot of enemies with higher hp since it builds up a 'radiation' meter and kills them with a few shots, but doesn't work against supermuties, ghouls, golden geckos, centaurs, and robots. And against lower hp targets it's basically a weaker plasma pistol. Also have to consider self irradiation thanks to the meltdown-like effect. Absolutely hideous gigantic viewmodel though

My first mod back when new vegas was new involved copying how old world blues added a hot plate as a campfire crafting item and changing the ovens in the lucky 38 to be a crafting station.Other times I check the nexus to see if someone added something similar to what I want to add and stealing from it as much as possible. After a while you understand what's going on and can do it by yourself.
