The first big difference is that Tails doesn't bring up Forces, he's simply doubting himself because the hologram is harassing him, and like in English Sonic reminds him of the Adventure games and Lost World, and tells him that he's smart and he can fly. After that is where it completely changes, in English Sonic tells Tails that he's just a kid who needs help and that he needs to learn and get more experience, and so Tails concludes that he needs to leave Sonic and force himself to go on adventures alone to become a completely different person. In Japanese Sonic starts telling Tails that he admires him, that he's always valued his contributions, and that he can do unique things no one else can, Tails is relieved and concludes that he's going to continue doing his best without doubting himself.
