At the time, that made me think "Oh, they're aware of how the original cast will eventually get overshadowed and made irrelevant! Maybe they'll do something to address that." And now we're at 2.2, and the most relevant the cunning hares have been since 1.4 have been as side characters for anby's chapter. The thing they called out has largely happened, and the cunning hares only really show up to remind us they exist during side events. This really sucks for me because they're still my favorite faction (though I didn't get SAnby because I like anby the least of the 4).
