I can beat plat players because I can anti air them into a kd then they'd rather throw the round than block on wake up but against better people I feel like I'm missing something about the character is supposed to be used. K fish after khd doesn't seem like it's an actual mix up, just a way to not have to deal with wake up throw protection. Then if they FD one normal you can't use the +ob fireball special even with the dash cancel because the first part will whiff and there's a huge gap. I adore playing Venom, he is just so ridiculously fun. I love hitting the balls man.. I love watching them fly and seeing what situations I can set up for. It is extremely strong in that it will force the opponent to act, it doesn't matter if you actually get to activate it and nuke their healthbar with it.Just fucking throw them when you see them act passively and you are in a relatively close rangeYou have to remember than no matter how slow your character is, how bad your normals are, you can still present an extremely strong strike throw in this game because cS buttons are in all cases terrifying and the throws are very strong. I think if Wings of Light is better than ever, now. Especially now, it's easier for her to safely set it up, easy to safely zone while the wings count down, and the threat of wings themselves is very useful for getting people to spend their burst quickly (and, since Dizzy's zoning is much better, getting knocked full screen away is probably advantageous for her). I see high-level Dizzy player Peluna trying to set up Wings more than ever since the patch dropped.
