How does buff overwriting / stacking work? Say 2 volts with speed buff. One has 300 strength/10 second duration and the other has 100 strength/30 second duration. Does it prioritize strength? duration? Keep both instances and apply the highest strength until it expires and then use the lower one? Last cast overwrites and ignores everything? I'm doing ESO and I notice some high strength and range volts and I think I'm griefing everyone with my stormtrooper and speed.

I don't usually go for unga bunga gigastrength and like longer durations. Whenever there's a buff conflict mine just ends up not triggering at all, so just having more duration doesn't do shit. If I had to guess, buffs with more strength overwrite buffs with low strength regardless of the other stats.

Invariably there are 5-6 different posts saying finish the star chart and get Galvanized mods. Please stop with this advice it isn’t really helpful.We should be talking to them about modding conceptually more than specific mods. About bonus stacking, about how to recognize if a weapon should be built for crit or status or both. How IPS mods are generally not as good as other elemental mods. galvanized mods aren’t the immediate fix for everything. Getting the player to understand how damage is dealt in this game is more important.
