Bringer was a one patch nobody, and now the only other somehow recurring antagonist we had that is Mevorakh is revealed to be Isolde. That is cool and all don't get me wrong but Mevorakh was barely memorable before the Isolde reveal and she is now dead as soon as she actually became a memorable antagonistic figure.Exaltists feel so boring to fight because we just face some meaningless NPC characters with the same goals and everything. I don't know why everyone is surprised, the way the story is structured is what hoyo is doing every time but with a different setting. You arrive, meet new characters, know their problems, do what you are supposed to do without stealing the spotlight ever, farts some NPC tier dialogue and everyone sucks your cock at the end to not make you feel left behind. They also edge you with some mysterious power that they don't explain ever just to stretch the story. What's in between the story is just to shill a new character power. The only characters who "grow" and get an special treatment are the "Sentinels" or void hunters in this case. The only time this structure was different was in Hi3rd.

I am at the start of 2.2, and its pretty rough. For starter, S11 is barely in despite her presence being confirmed in the briefing. Hell, she doesn't even appear in the cutscene where they kill sacrifices.Except for Orphie and Seed, Obol squad is terribly absent. It makes this story really feels like a commercial rather than a fun story. Compare with SoC's story where everyone was more equilibrated, including Lucy getting the spotlight despite being A-rank!At least, this is the closest we have the a more grey story, with the proxy's status as the criminal being brought on the front.
