Draw anons, I added a "perspective overlay". You can put up to 3 vanishing point to help drawing in the correct perspective. UI still a bit rough.It's all on a separate object so it wont interfere with actual drawing on the canvas itself.

Assuming the object is static, does it matter how many materials I use in the world for objects? It's well known that avatars should have as little materials as possible because extra materials get extra draw calls and get rendered separately, should I expect a similar performance hit when object is static and it's a part of the world?

I'm glad I missed the retarded roy controller knuckle strap discussionThese models are for a controller display aid inside VR, there's no reason to show the straps and it's not the convention.Also valve is autistic about user experience and they made the premiere knuckle strap controller with finger tracking and built their one game around using them, they aren't going to get retarded and go backwards. The roy controller design is just capitulation that oculus touch had the right ideas. Put the strap on the battery door cover so it can be swapped out for no straps. It's more modular, if someone makes aftermarket straps they can make their own door cover instead of being forced to make some silicone grip thing to get it on the controller. Everything has pointed to a $1200 price point or just near index pricing, I would be very surprised if knuckle straps weren't in the box. I would be even annoyed if they weren't the default install on the controllers. Strapless should be the alternative here. And zuck did so much damage to VR by putting his knuckle straps as an add on. When I bought VR i got the knuckle straps as a free bonus and I didn't intend to use them. It was night and day and people don't tell you that shit is just as important as a headstrap.
