Lightning arrow can only target ground hazards and cannot target enemies>lightning rod now places ground hazard on the ground but deals no damage itself. The rods can be killed by enemy hits. Granted the only 2 Ascendancies I've tried in POE2 has been Infernalist and Lich but it's really odd how Lich has to either nuke their own mana or ES for dmg while Infernalist Demon Form is impossible to maintain without giga investment into minmax gear. It's unsatisfying getting such an annoyingly small powerspike compared to stuff like Slayers giga culls or Juggernaut getting infinite endurance charges and borderline invulnerability to physical dmg.

What is the consensus on Energy Shield and Life from the developer perspective in PoE2? People have argued that energy shield is just "Life but blue". Which I agree with.
