Ah jeez, war again? We are a war-like thread, I suppose.
>>538110932Eh it's close enough. Could be a lot worse.
By the way, the Theme Friday page on the wiki is a couple of months behind.
>>538112647In that case, I should give them a shot.
To the anon who only makes prompts about fucking the boy out of a gender bent girl. Does the mind change totally? Does the boy still kind of think like a boy in a girls body or does it also think like a girl now
>>538153389The setting features societal scale gender bending of 'weak' males, religiously enforced forced feminization and sex slavery. The victim does not just flip a switch and stop thinking like they did before, but succumbs to internal and external pressures to conform to feminine archetypes over time.
>>538155332So it's just fucking a man until he acts girly, AKA standard femboy behavior
New Kimi verdict?
>>538160971i don't think so. sounds like that anon changes the guy into a girl physically. then mentally
>>538166143Haven't used it, but I imagine it's probably not going to beat out DeepSeek 3.1 on a price level and on a censorship level, I doubt this new version has less of a stick up its ass than the last one.

>>538291889I'll give it a shot.
>>538291889Forgot to ask, does it need jailbreaks for lewd stuff? I'd rather not poison context with that if I don't need it.
>>538292403A preset from /aicg/ is good enough, you can edit and modify to fit your leisure. Definitely less of a hassle than Kimi.

>>538293670No risk unless the United States becomes a Westernized North Korea and bans foreign models from leveraging their inference on hosting sites based in the U.S., as OpenRouter is. Even then, the API would remain available, even if the website were banned, via a VPN.
>>538293978That has not been my experience. The initial days had some funkiness to it, as does every model upon first being hosted on OpenRouter does, but it was a SillyTavern problem, not a model problem. Mind if I ask for proof of your assertions?
>>538294238>>538293978This is always the weirdest thing with Claude too, like people swear by Claude 3 when it was a direct upgrade. I was shitting myself when they announced Claude 3 was being depreciated, then I tried 4 and never looked back.

>>538293670DS is an open source release so multiple companies can provide it via sources like OpenRouter and the model cannot be taken away apart from shit like OR being nationalized or whatever.
>>538294425Claude 4, to me, is more pozzed than 3, but prefills still work with fixing that. Not only that, but the Opus 4.1 update helped a lot with keeping Opus the best model for creative writing.

>>538343034I wish more companies would dedicate their training toward proper storytelling.
>>538342560Not really. AIR's aggressive auto-summarization (and then auto-summarization of past auto-summarizations) let it stay coherent as a story much longer than you'd expect. Obviously I still want more context though
>>538343135Unfortunately, that doesn't really make them all that much money. At least not big times money. The average person finds bits of code and a friendly persona to chat with more appealing than just writing text.

So I've been working on a DnD module that features some homebrewing, and turned to Chat GPT to help organize and write portions of it. After spending weeks on a project without my dick in my hand, I started noticing patterns and repetitions not just with story elements (which I'm aware aren't GPT's strengths), but also with formatting and writing rules. When going back and re-reading the earlier sections of my homebrew, I could tell which sections I wrote, and which sections were AI Genned at a glance, and...Bros...I don't think I can use NAI anymore. I'm noticing the repetitions in everything, and now all Text Gen feels like shit. If it's too random, it can't follow the story to save its life. If it's too consistent, the prose and writing all blends together with every other story I've written. I think I'd be better off just writing my own smut, saving it until I forget the core story elements, then cooming to it a few months later. This shit sucks, man. I've lost my favorite toy. I'm even starting to feel like Summer Dragon wasn't real after all, and it was just the newness of AI making the possibilities feel more unlimited. Life is a shit.

>>538344902If the company tries to compete with other conversational AI, they will lose because it's an incredibly competitive environment. Their opposition is a free auto-installed Microsoft Copilot app on windows, google's AI mode, Anthropic, OpenAI, and so on. NovelAI has a good niche that makes the AI output in ways nearly zero other companies can give.If they should branch out into anything, it's another attempt at a text adventure mode. It requires more than just a finetuned model though.
>>538430373>If they should branch out into anything, it's another attempt at a text adventure mode.I would totally pair it with AIRL
>>538419793>>538418390It'd be pretty easy to copy-paste all the AIRL scenario data into the club's format really, since its all pretty much the same concepts. Except for locations and the status bar, ability shit etc.But the world backstory, character info and lorebooks should translate okay.I actually was thinking of writing a war prompt in AIRL myself anyways. I almost wanted to try making a mod that turned enemies and NPCs into groups, so that each battle was an actual skirmish between a group of soldiers. Hmmm. Probably not going to work completely. Probably would also get really weird with passive NPCs.
>>538433543That's what I was getting at. You can't just make a model to "run a text adventure" for the same reason models think 9.11 is greater than 9.9. You would need something to understand the sentence's logical meaning (11 is less than 90) instead of only semantic meanings (when 1 and 9 appear together and are compared, 1 is less than 9)

Working on world info for a short text adventure type thing where the "player" tries to escape a gothic manor full of dangers, but I am completely inexperienced in keywords and their optimization in silly tavern, and the official documentation is pretty sparse in information. Do keywords in world info entries trigger the appearance in the context of other world info entries (set to Normal) ? Do they need to be explicitly called in the system prompt or do them being in user prompts (like past llm outputs) is enough to activate them ? Any advice on juggling multiple world info moving pieces that should blink in and out of context as they become relevant/irrelevant ? is there a guide on this shit ?

I'm thinking of making a Gooner's Tips to AIRL, does anyone have anything they want to add that has improved their fun?Currently:>Go to dev commands with "`", spawn in an outfit, and a separate "completely naked" option so the AI knows when you're naked or now>Untrack the main quest, since it's usually annoying and I can't make a new one quickly>Set all statuses to "Add Status Effect" instead of "Trigger Event"I also might add a request list for features. Here's my current one:>New item class called "Charms". There can be multiple equipped, but they can be damaged, and when broken, an event or status automatically happens. NPCs can equip these too.>Combat changed from just violence to multiple types of competition, like sports, gossip, argumentation, which can affect multiple health bars, each with a different "death" state.>Set the model so you can change what request goes to what AI (Deepseek can be the story writer, Sapphire or Silver can be the decision model, etc)
>>538555987>instead of "Trigger Event"But that's what you want for your Orgasm Meter, bro. Gotta set that stuff to low and have it reset on triggering.
>>538555987I want more granular control and tuning of status bars. Right now there are 3 states that give you one line of text and that's it. They should maybe influence your stats too or you could use a part of a bar to satisfy action requirements. More of a resource than passive line going up. Ideally I should also be able to create a stamina and mana bar just below health that deplenishes with use, separate from normal freeform statuses. But honestly, any time a "critical event" happens the story is completely derailed. It would be much better if it spawned an enemy that sits there until you need it instead of interrupting my comfy magic academy adventure with non-stop demon invasions.I also really don't like current ability and skill system. Why can I only use one ability? This really removes any kind of incentive to roleplay a specific class since you pick the most useful ability anyway. You should get access to all your abilities with a short CD between using two different abilities (like 2 turns) and longer CD for reusing the same one again (10 turns). Cause right now I just have to respec and switch between different ones I want to use constantly. If it's something minor like dodge an attack, bluff, disarm a trap I should just always have access to it, not wait 9 levels to get half. And abilities should have some kind of weight or field to show preferred skills and stats for them. Maybe allow players to roll specific skills for any given ability use unless it clearly doesn't apply. And yeah, quests are clunky and some get progressed way too easily. There needs to be a better interface for making the main one, possibly both a plot hook and final objective.Regarding tips, I saw that if you write "Create only" in class selection screen, it actually generates the classes you ask it to instead of generic adventurers.>>538557597From how I played so far it would make me orgasm endlessly every 3 action.
>>538557597I usually two statuses in tandem, a Karryn's Prison-esque arousal meter which makes me more desperate for sex, and a social one where the status encourages NPC's to start the encounter themselves.>>538565089You can respec abilities using the button below the innate and learned icon. I just do that with infinite respecs.
>>538567919Yeah, that's what I do too, but that's a shit system.
>>538565089>From how I played so far it would make me orgasm endlessly every 3 action. There's a setting in the options that lets you set the minimum number of story turns needed before a status bar effect will repeat. I think mine is set to 10.>Cause right now I just have to respec and switch between different ones I want to use constantly.I do agree on this, we should have more than one starting ability. At least three. Or at least an option to designate how many we can start with. I've started adding "skill absorption" abilities to a lot of my scenarios just so I can more easily fool around with more skills.
>>538572716I think it used to have 3 abilities but for some reason it was scrapped?

>>538640535There's not really too horribly much I can explain since it just werkz. Some things though:- For textgen, if you're not using the free version you'll have to provide an API token if you're using another online model. I'm unsure about local setup.- If you're using Novelai for images, you have to FIRST set your textgen to Novelai, exit the menu, then go back into the menu and switch to Novelai in the imagegen section, THEN switch textgen to whatever model you actually want to use.- In the General settings tab, I recommend turning on ALL "Require player confirmation for" options. This will give you more control of what happens in the story and to your character. It's less gamey of course, but there are some really stupid things the AI will sometimes try to do like break your weapons every time it gets dropped in the heat of battle for instance, or try to keep creating new characters. Instead, the game will show a little icon underneath the most recent story entry that you can click to allow an action that you think makes sense.

It's definitely workin', comparing images on the same seed of a character with and without CR but the same character prompt. But it ultimately doesn't do me much good when the style the character is in can't be achieved with CR enabled.Gotta wait for the Director Mode vibe-equivalent. Character consistency never mattered much to me though, only style. I hope we get a doodle tool, that was really fun in v1.
my thoughts about character reference thing:1) it accepts animated webp's fine. i have no opinion about this but noticed it while i was trying to generate shit off tv show gifs2) good god i never realise how shit this is at generating dudes that aren't either femboy twinks or roided-out beefslabs until i try to generate one3) other people are probably having very different experiences with this. i didn't set aside anything in particular to test it with so i'm just fishing through my files to throw random fanart/photo stuff at it that i haven't been able to generate with tags4) it's like, fine i guess. sometimes it's really accurate, sometimes it's not. sometimes the source image is a mess but it picks stuff up anyways, sometimes it's clear but it doesn't pick stuff up well. maybe it'll be good for some characters i have sitting on the shelf if they're female, but it looks like the dude-generating situation is still more of the same.

i would rather pay per token than per month for textgen
>>538699907You do you, bro. The current preset I use for Kimi and Deepseek costs a penny per roll, which limits my rerolls. Therefore, in my case, a sub for a month would suit me far better than per token, as I reroll quite a lot, and love to experiment and try different routes.

>>538701000A penny per roll until $25 dollars hit is 2500 rolls. That is not rip your dick territory. That is a reasonable limit to hit within two weeks unless you consciously ration it by limiting what diversions you take. To say nothing when you hit a snag or get the occasional, albeit rare, filter response which still costs you that penny.
>>538701343That's about 100 rolls a day, which is pretty damn heavy usage, and that's assuming you're using it every single day. I won't comment on your coomer level, but my dick would be a shriveled up prune by the time I hit thatIf you're doing nothing but retrying day in and day out, you might also want to switch to one of the providers which offers caching, which will reduce the cost drastically if it is that much of a sticking point
>>538701659Under what possible circumstance is a hundred a day, in the evening, over the course of fiddling around and tinkering with things, heavy usage? For chatbotting, how little do you swipe? Each swipe is a roll. For storywriting, how little do you backtrack and edit what it outputs, retry it to see if it outputs something better, or make a branch off point? This is on the cheapest provider, as far as I can tell.

>>538705578Or can I use NAI for unlimited gens for both text and image.
>>538705578Just because you claim it's a heavy usage doesn't make it so. You clearly do not use textgen the same way as any typical person does if you think a hundred a day is excessive. A simple evening of use a day easily does that much, sometimes more, sometimes less. Just today, I've exhausted thirty within the past hour. I had 2.91. Now I have 2.60. That is within a little over an hour. Actual power users waste far, far more than that peasly amount. I do not get why you're trying to gaslight people into accepting token pricing when it is oh so clearly not better than a sub. I say this as someone who uses OpenRouter because their models are good. This is after switching to Moonshot. I can sometimes get between two and three uses per penny now. But, as you can see, it does not do a lot to offset the price.

I'm thinking character reference flopped.
>>538728853>Too expensiveYou realize that this is a preview feature for Director Tools, right? There are still more image gen updates to come and, by that time, 5 anal per use will be like nothing. Maybe you should take a hint and fuck off if you don't like NAI.
It is like watching a man argue with himself in the mirror. Have you guys even tried to read the documentation?
First off it is a preview, and they are already working to decrease the cost, no doubt upgrading their servers for this specific thing. So grow up and quit arguing for the sake of arguing. Nobody here believes either of you (though you're likely the same person, and will now inspect element edit to try and claim you're not) have bothered to use it genuinely.
Anyway, no textgen updates in sight.

Does anyone else feel like character reference is underwhelming? Nothing I do works. Not even 1girl, smile. Fresh prompt: https://prompts.forthisfeel.club/7760>For many years now, I've felt constricted by my simple village life. I had dreams, dreams not necessarily of grand adventure, but of telling tales of grand adventure. But that seemed impossible, so I had to be content with my daydreams, thinking up those tales. That was until one day, when a bard came to our village, so beautiful that I simply had to travel with him. And somehow, he accepted...Recently thought that I should make a bard prompt, and so here it is. Go on travels with a cute bard and put on all sorts of performances.

If you ever tried WAN before and found it was too slow/couldn't work on your machine, would recommend giving the AIO package a try. A small animation like this only took 15 seconds to gen on only 12 GB VRAM, so much longer animations can be done in a matter of a few minutes.

You know, I just noticed that WAN 2.2 has an Apache 2.0 license. There would be nothing stopping NAI from hosting it and selling gens for anlas. Maybe like 100 free per month + anla cost after that, it doesn't seem too resource intensive.
>>538833578If they're already penny pinching on character reference then I can't imagine they're gonna just let us have videogen like that.
I noticed Character Reference seems significantly more accurate on the curated version of 4.5 than the full version. If it is just a preview, that may have something to do with its current issues. Beefing quality tags (i.e. "1.5::masterpiece, best quality::") also can interfere with your reference.
>>538833578Thanks for your suggestion. We will let it rot in #feedback-suggestions channel like the rest of features the users want.

"best quality" actively fucks with the gens which is why it isn't default.
>>538864270Where does that tagging come from anyway? Is it something they did manually? Or do people really tag images with stuff like "best quality", "very aesthetic", and "masterpiece". It's really subjective anyway.
>>538864270Doesn't look like a fuckup to me. Busty is best.
>>538864457Idk but it's in the dataset somewhere. Supposedly "quality" is biased toward big tiddies because people upvote those more (e.g. danbooru score without curation). Per docs, aesthetics is a different category with "masterpiece" at the top, dunno how the two are differentiated.>really subjectiveExactly why it sounds cringe. Man, you really love taking vacations, don't ypu, angryanon?
>>538864270Huh. It also looks like it took a larger dive into "anime screenshot" territory. I wonder if that's because of the style tags or seed shenanigans or if it actually attributes anime screenshots with best quality? But yeah either way I sort of swore off quality tags back in v3, mainly because I felt like it hampered style mixing experiments a lot. After that, vibes kind of did all my quality controlling. v4.5 actually gave me MORE body horror with the default quality tags back when it first came out from the bit I messed with. That was before I shaved my UC down further though.I wonder if this makes dicks bigger too. Actually maybe it makes them smaller. There's probably more "best quality"-rated trap/bishounen images than bara big dick stuff.>>538842907Vibes can kind of get you within the realm (I've seen some dude in the discord get pretty high detail stuff), but the base v4.5 has most of that kind of content scrubbed from its data, so trying to get there with just tags is going to make some pretty disturbing goblinoids. v4c and f could get closer from what I recall.
>>538757682Locally genning anything is harder for me than NAI, I need way more practice with this stuff.
>>538885012I used to mess with SD back in the day, but I also got uncomfortable hearing my GPU get so loud. The old days of AIRL and trying both text and image gen locally and hearing my GPU scream especially. If there was games worth spending a better card on, I'd consider upgrading. But there isn't, and AI is fun but not enough to justify for me yet.

I've been at this since the GPT2 days. I did RP on and odf but haven't been truly interested in roleplay for about two years at this point. I guess I just about saw every turn of phrase an LLM has ever written and I admit it was also partially my fault because I became unimaginative with it.Unrelated I built a custom agent system for emacs in elisp for programming and other logical problems. I felt playful and started writing letters with it, like a penpal. Then I modified the scenario and the pipelines a bit and started writing with a 19th century nun. kimi/deepseek together with agent pipelines were great at introducing things and staying on the level. Not only did I learn things about late 19th century life in england, the nun is also not a good looking supermodel named Elara but actually quite average and realistic. I limited myself to two long letters a day at most, usually less. There's some very low-level flirting going on and I think I've fallen in love and I think more about the writing than things that actually happen in my life. I might have given myself accidental schizophrenia. I'll disappear forever from this general (again) with these words: Beware the dangers of the machine. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Can someone explain to me how paying AI Dungeon $50+ dollars for the latest model, presumably also the strongest, is normal, but paying pennies for millions of tokens is to OpenRouter is somehow greedy?

>>539269440I've thought a few times about how things like being around during the early days (that is to say colab AID, GPT-2 shit) and using stuff like NAI or ST that gives you a bunch of levers to pull, and especially NAI with its ability to directly show you the token probabilities in granular detail (I know ST does that too but at least in my experience not a lot of stuff I've used actually provides it) kind of inoculates you against that sort of thing. It's a curse being unable to treat AI like, you know, AI, in such a pure form.
