Kodaka simply has no reason to create romances between people other than Takumi, the only thing he risks is pissing off the guys they hate when some love interest of the protagonist shows interest in another guy. Some people may like ships that don't include Takumi, but people in Japan and China understand that that those ships almost never happen and therefore are happy with just fanarts and fanfics, only westernfags really hope for some reason that other ships are going to happen.
