How do you guys who started around the anniversary feel about the game after a few months?I'm slowly losing interest despite liking a lot of the things the game does but I don't really find the exploration to be satisfying or the combat in the endgame to be particularly interesting, and the weakest part for me would be the team building aspect which is basically non existent.The story presentation and the look of the maps is what has kept me going but the story itself is getting very predictable with every episode being structured the exact same way. I'm not going to pretend I didn't like the Lupa hype moment or the Carty one but at this point it's something you expect like a Mili song at the end of a Limbus season except it's every episode here.I miss actual character stories that don't have to do with Rover or the chasing the threnodian and god damn I miss free form exploration.The release of back to back dps and their BiS supports along with overtuned signatures makes the game feel very predatory at the moment, even if I'm used to being f2p and I generally don't care it makes me want to skip entire "premade" teams whereas in other games I only really pull characters I like because they're self sufficient.Lastly, I wish the endgame was more involved, there really is nothing to it when every single enemy or boss fights the same, is fought the same and dies the same except at different speed depending on their color, there's no positioning, there's no strategy, there's no team composition aspect.Overall, I'm a bit tired of the game already.

The returning characters didn't add much to the story as it primarily focused on Orphie/Magus relationship with Isolde, but even if they didn't add much they were still present in the story and as a viewer you understood why they were there. If anything it showed that even with them being there the story could still focus on the upcoming character Orphie/Magus without making them disconnected from the rest of the world, just like how Kuro could have given Lupa some small cameos in the hunt given that she is the winner of the most recent agon. The story would still have focused on Augusta but people would have been content that older characters are still participating in the world instead of ceasing to exist.

>>538304081I like the suggestion, but I don't think it is a feasible suggestion in the long term. Genshin stopped doing that quite a while ago due to multi banners. It's still something they do at times though, Citali, Mualani and Chasca all reran in 5.8 and are present one way or another in some of the 5.8 stories. It's not always they do this though, but it is nice when they do it and WuWa do something similar at times to show that the lives of the characters continue on in the world.

I'm starting to think the lupa should be in the hunt is just the new shitposting talking point. Lupa died multiple times to the corruption of the dark tide a few days ago, and she couldn't even control her drinking after the trauma. So she should be brought in the center of the dark tide corruption in the wastelands? She would just get corrupted and likely die, even augusta barely made it out (unlike iuno, and avidius, the other cristoforo pawn like lupa mindbroken). Shouldn't she be treated as a human, or just as her role? I guess she is a gladiator (even if purely as sport, but who cares), so if there is any fight she always must be there. Calcharo is a mercenary so even though we didn't see any of those there he must be hired by everywhere we happened to be. Blackshores is fine to follow the MC though, they are ultimately his followers so it would make more sense to have them on this hunt than lupa (even if they were always presented as researchers and not a military force, and in this case they technically were through buling, but it could be a general rover support squad).

This way there's always a challenge fighting 120lvl overlord bosses and I duncare about completing the endgame content for a handful of gems. If you don't brick the game by min maxxxing echoes over and over it doesn't really get stale imo. I find the endgame content in these games is where it rly starts getting into deminishing returns. You can spend less time farming and grinding, and while you do take longer to kill everything it's still more fun than just walking up to a band of baddies and erasing them from existence (sure is fun at first though)
