Maybe they bought a 1000 plat ceramic dagger riven and are reaping the consequences. Personally I like circuit because sometimes it's nice playing as a frame I don't own yet. Although I do agree that it's artificial difficulty in the case of the others thoughbeit. Warframe isn't really a difficult game, so the random loadouts only restrict user freedom. It can be said that it succeeds at adding difficulty, but when the whole game is on easy mode by default there really isn't that much gained.

You should have to bring 3 Warframes into every mission. Whenever you die with a warframe, you can't use that one for the remainder of the mission and need to switch to a different one, war thunder style.
