I honestly like IDW and Archie. It does annoy me that the game characters are OOC. Like I actually experience a negative emotional response at seeing them act so differently. But the other side of my brain says it's no big deal. A lot of these were written without the same context I grew up with. I can get used to it. I don't mind readong Sonic stories for their OCs. Mainline Sonic stories rarely star Sonic in the first place and even when they do they usually don't have much going on until around the climax.
