>Henry’s bookshelf has the Selection of Love Poems book from Hans’ DLC except the Ode to Woman poem has been cut
>the last poem is trippy and grimdark now
>item description has changed from “ A collection of love poems” to “Must be owned by anyone who has been struck by Cupid's arrow.”
Between the BDSM bed and this, Henry seems to be going through some things.

>Under the sky's great mass,
>you crumble and fall apart,

>silent and unheard.

>Throughout the night you dance,

>drives the curse away.

>Upon your heart now burn,
>a thousand fleeting dreams,
>materialised into one,
>the end of earthly schemes.

>In memory it holds you,
>as heavenward you rise,
>for you have stopped the blow,
>meant to bring your demise.

I'm really sad I beat this game the month it came out. There are so many fantastic additions to the game that I regret having not waited. Ah... I'll wait for the final DLC to come out then I'll start a hardcore play through. Apparently they re-balanced weapons so hopefully spears are viable so I'll do that.

Did they make any changes to the combo system? Back when I played it was nearly impossible to pull off anything but the most basic combos because enemies would never allow you to string 3 hits so easily without blocking or riposting you. Besides, feigning and perfect parry seemed like a far superior method.

Like what, repetitive horse races that are no different from forced quest races? Shield decals in a game where equipping a shield is a debuff? Smithing dlc that makes you do anything but smithing and delivers nothing on their promise to add more recipes and enhance the mechanic?
I guess some extra bandit encounters from DLCs are welcome but it's nothing to fawn over.
>>
>>538828297
>Did they make any changes to the combo system?
they changed polearm combos to 3 hits, that's it
>it was nearly impossible to pull off anything but the most basic combos
it was entirely dependent on your warfare and weapon mastery stats and it still is
>feigning and perfect parry seemed like a far superior method
Perfect block is necessary for defense, can't go around it. But I barely used feints or master strikes at all, despite spending a long time wielding swords. Feints barely work and are entirely warfare dependent too, if you have stats for feints, then you can do combos as well. Masterstrikes are boring and require you to play passively, which I don't like.
Anyway, nothing changed in that regard, if anything, it kinda feels like countering after dodge is more difficult now, but it likely feels like that because I started using heavy weapons early this time, and my warfare stat was too low. Again, everything scales with your warfare stat, once you get past 20 you basically can't lose no matter what buttons you mash. I guess if you want a steady curve, you start with swords, then move to axes, and finally switch to polearms. And never forge henry quality weapons before you get to kuttenberg, they trivialize early game too much.

>>538877058
>>538877263
I mean I found it kind of a let-down. From the Ashes felt much more like I was doing something worthwhile by dumping all my money here I'm just grinding repairing a building I don't really care about doing sidequests I've done repeatedly before so I can ultimately buy a raven. If I cared about Martin more I might find it better too I guess.
>>
>>538879271
How far are you in the DLC?
Ive just started but i dont feel inspired to traverse the map... not sure why kcd2 map is kinda.. uninspiring but its not like kcd1 is esp beautiful.. I think kcd1 jank and outdated graphics help you brush flaws off, kcd2 looks modern it shouldnt have this tedious back and forth traversal
>>
>>538880505
Not far I don't think. I got the clock mechanism went to the bailiff and got told I'm not well known enough (was level 10 and have to be 13 prestige) Building gives prestige but I don't want to buy a bunch of useless building upgrades I don't want until I unlock the ones I do so I'm just grinding by side quests which so far is repeatedly killing bandit camps, doing tournaments and forging weapons then running across the city to deliver them. I get why they added prestige but the way they implemented it is all wrong
>>
>>538879271
What kind of peasant has 300 groshen to spare?
>>
>>538881524
The fact that you have to deliver it yourself is bizzare....... in kcd1 henry had subordinates he sent to fetch the materials to build the town
And marius
>>
>>538878089
I dunno about kissing animations are hard
The rest is reasonable
>>
>>538877058
I do find it a bit disappointing. The lack of gay sex with Hans is a contributing factor, but hardly my biggest complaint.
>Bugs. Some activity quests for the guild are bugged. Currently I have dice activity that is never marked as completed despite me beating every single dice player in Kuttenberg. The alchemy bench you can build at the forge is also bugged to the point of being unplayable.
>Sales chest is either bugged or useless. It takes days for Magdalena to sell one item, and then it will be for only a few hundred groschen even if the item was valued at over 1 thousand groschen.
>Some building paint options are cut off or overlap with each other. This may not bother you if you're not autistic.
>Magdalena is forced to live with you, and you can invite two employees to live with you too. If you don't invite them to move in, the room they would occupy stays unused and filled with garbage.
>Customization for the forge is nice and I enjoy it, but a lot of it is useless and you have no one to share it with. The cow and pig have no use at all. No one ever sits at the table and dice area you can build. Letting your love interest move in or at least having them visit from time to time would've gone a long way. The rest of the Devil's pack could've dropped by too.
>Not sure if it's a bug or not, but quests for the guild will require you to get back stolen items which may sometimes include a new recipe for your forge, but if you learn the recipe then the quest fails because you need to return it for the quest. Retarded.
>The one new armor set is kind of ugly.
>What's the point of having 3 different NPCs work for you and live with you if none of them will help with deliveries or sell items?
I would have forgiven all of this if I could have more gay sex with Hans, however, I am still enjoying it since it's something new to do.
>>
>>538882459
So just having hans in a forge, just with his usual idle animations? Can he sleep potentially? I figure the pathing is difficult
>>
>5 different guards get up in the middle of the night to explore the tower
What kind of bullshit programming is this?
It's like they're all telepathically linked and the instant one of them goes unconscious another just wakes up to take over their patrol.
>>
>>538883956
Sex with Hans would've saved this dlc.
>>
>>538891435

If you want to see more of them wait 7 years for the next game.
Actually strike that, we'll all be bathing in nuclear fire by then.
>>

>>
>>538863812
Thr secret is that you don't need to equip items to every slot. Visible surfaces count, you csn cover your shitty coat with clown collar, or you can just grab a fancy purpoint and not cover it with anything. Then there is jewelry for 52 chsrisma that gives a nice bump. And for whatever reason, pants don't affect charisma at all, so you can equip whatever you like in pants slot. I don't wear leg armor because you don't get hit in legs in this game, and I'd rather save some carrying weight.

Optimistic KCD3 posting is always welcome in my book. I'm imagining a scene at the beginning of KCD3 where Henry is clearly completed consumed by work around the forge, stressed, and all his workers talking over each other about minor complaints. Hans and the Devil's Pack ride into the courtyard and everyone stares at each other before Hans asks Henry what the fuck he's doing. Henry kind of looks around and realizes the absurdity of this detour.
>>
>>538945565
I mean the total amount of time passed so far for KCD1 and 2 is like what 6 months max? I'm assuming masters travel a fair bit for business anyway so he can probably take a few weeks off to go to Austria without losing his membership.

The only reason he wouldn't return would be his relationship with Hans I guess. Theresa would certainly take being a prosperous burghers wife in Kuttenburg over her uncles house any day.

>>538982513
I don't think they've ever been specific about when he stepped in
>>
>>538984104
Yeah, I don’t think they’ve ever said when Martin came into picture. Sam’s mom Sara stayed an unmarried single mother her whole life, so I guess Henry’s mom raising him alone for a few years wouldn’t raise too many eyebrows.
>>
>>538985028
>I guess Henry’s mom raising him alone for a few years wouldn’t raise too many eyebrows.
It would. But what are they gonna do, kill her?
>>
>>538985158
She could move away for a year then come back with Henry and say she was briefly married and her husband died. Peasant marriages often went unregistered because there was no real property to inherit, so it’s not like they could prove her wrong.
>>
>>538985158
>But what are they gonna do, kill her?
Maybe. Her reputation would be dead though. Unwed medieval mothers would be shunned from the community or forced to become nuns. Their kids would even be taken away from them in some cases.
>>
>>538986485
This actually wasn’t the case in medieval Bohemia. Here’s a Czech Academy of Sciences and Charles University historian giving an interview about it two years ago.
>What is the most common myth about the Middle Ages that you encounter?
>Probably the idea that women had no rights at all and were completely at the mercy of men. The reality was different: for example, society did pay attention to violence against women and did not tolerate it, including domestic violence. Paradoxically, noblewomen were actually less protected than women in towns, where collective solidarity often gave them more freedom.[…]

>Another traditional image is that women always married as virgins and that sex was taboo…
>In higher aristocratic circles, women usually did marry as virgins when it was their first marriage. But in towns and in the countryside, that was certainly not the rule. Premarital sexuality was tolerated up until the 17th century, though there were double standards between men and women. For men, some sexual experience before marriage was even expected. Later, however, the church and secular authorities increased their control over society, and stricter views gradually took hold.

>And what about infidelity—how was that dealt with?
>It took many forms. Affairs with married women were fairly common but legally dangerous. If caught in the act, lovers could be killed on the spot by the wronged husband or wife—but by no one else. Otherwise, adultery was punished under town law and could even lead to expulsion from the city. Divorce on grounds of infidelity was very rare; people were more often “condemned” to continue living together, which was surely just as complicated then as it is today.
>>
>>538987978
>And was it possible for a woman to live single?
>You may be surprised, but women from lower social classes—especially in towns—very often lived single. Some research suggests their share was several tens of percent. Some never married, while others were widowed very young and then either did not want to remarry or could not. Records of single-person households, most often women, clearly show this. So, living single was basically normal. It was probably much harder than today, but the social pressure on unmarried women was nowhere near what it was even 30 years ago. In this respect, the Middle Ages were actually quite progressive.

Sexual conventions in KCD are shown as pretty loose for a reason.
>>
I still haven't gotten any new weapon recipes and I just finished fixing the clock

>>538987978
This makes Radzig forcing Martin to marry his side piece even more confusing now. Unless Martin cucked him.
>>
>>538998993
That was probably more for Henry's benefit than anything else. There was a stigma against bastards and it allows Henry to step into a good profession even if he never reveals the real parentage.
>>
>>538999983
Yep. As far as everybody knew Henry was a blacksmith’s son, which made him fairly respectable within the community. His mother would have also been much poorer without a husband, since she presumably didn’t own any business or bigger property herself.

Just finished repairing the clock.
I'm not sure what I expected, but it felt like the DLC was missing something. Just a couple more Martin flashbacks would have really helped. The very first cutscene is basically more story than the entire rest of the DLC combined.

Also they need to multiply the sell chest rate by literally 100x. 750 gold after like 10 ingame days is completely useless. You can make 10x that much in one night of thieving.

>The house is not actually Henry's, it's Magdalena's.
>You get someone else to also move in who can take over the forge business.
>Can't actually invite any character personally important to Henry himself, much less his love interests he presumably might be interested in settling down with.

I've come to the conclusion that this whole forge thing is just telegraphing that this isn't gonna be Henry's final home. There will be a KCD3 and Henry will leave Kuttenberg.
Warhorse, give me Prague already.
>>
Are they actually planning on using UE5 for KCD3?
>>
>>539051516
No one knows for sure, it's purely speculated because Warhorse posted job openings that had UE5 experience in the description. They have complained that some things are the way that they are because of cryengine limitations, so it's possible. Either way it'll be another 5-7 years before we find out.
>>
>>539051726
Interesting, I'd really like to see destructible buildings. Torching a village then watching it collapse would be pretty neat.
>>
>>539051516
They stated in an interview that they had modified CryEngine so extensively its basically their own engine. So I don't think they'd throw it away easily in favor of UE5. Could be the UE5 knowledge will help for some engine adaptations they don't know yet. But even if they use UE5, the engine gets a bad rep bc devs don't know how to use it, even if they use UE5 i'm sure they would modify it to suit their applications
>>
Forgot to post about it but 2 days ago I got a weird finishing animation on poleaxe, it kinda looked like master strike kill except there are no polearm master strikes and I did not deflect the hit. I am also certain it wasn't a combo because I was just using stabs, and the finisher was a stab to abdomen, but different from a normal stab. Did they just add flavor? I don't remember other weapons having it, except swords, and only when you kill with a master strike.
>>
>>539051726
As someone who works in IT, it means nothing. You hire people with any relevant experience, you don't need to find a unicorn with exactly the stack you want.
There are hardly any developers on the market with knowledge of cryengine, so it just make sense to hire someone with similar experience if they can't find a cryengine guru.
Doesn't mean they aren't considering switching though. It would be a shame.

>Hey gossip fujos
Careful what you ask for anon.

I've seen precisely 3 people post about it on Xitter (not counting the replies and reposts) and I follow about 2/3rds of the fandom.

They raised more of a stink when he tweeted about how proud he was of KCD for it's historical accuracy and representing that period of history because he was also "bitching about asian representation" ("every sword in Hollywood is a katana" part of the tweet). Not the first time these ones take shit out of context.

It's also kinda funny that these same people swear up and down how he had very little to do with the existence of Hansry.

>>539220037
Ok, I clearly do not stalk enough of the fandom. I have't heard about this one yet.
I did catch something about some of Luke's fans trying to start shit with one of his mods in particular because, get this, "she's bullying him with her comments on twitch". And I'm guessing they think he's incapable of sacking her like he did the previous lot if he is unhappy with her or something?

I've seen a bunch of "These are new weapons you can get in this DLC!" lists and stuff and I have yet to find a single one when I'm almost done upgrading my forge. I found a grand total of one set of arm armor (that kind of sucks).

I'm already done with the story and I'm at prestige 30, so I'm just skipping time to get quests.
I finally got all the weapon recipes for the caster, but they're all shit except for the hammer.
Got the weapon for finishing Ragman's quest but it's also shit.
Got a sketch for the St. George sword after 200 investigation quests but it's shit.
Got owl guy's weapon but it's shit.
Been skipping time for 2 irl days straight and have yet to see the guy who gives you all the new weapons like Excalibur and the Evangelical sword. The only commission quests I get are from Magdalena who just wants me to waste my materials on shit and then deliver the shit halfway across Kuttenberg. Every time I skip to 9AM and see her standing there with another useless quest with no reward day after day I seethe.
>>
>>539281565
>I finally got all the weapon recipes for the caster, but they're all shit except for the hammer.
Well good news for me, because the hammer was what interested me most!
Either way, really feels like this DLC could have gotten some better planning in how it was spread out. It took me really long to even unlock the archery competitions at all.
>>
>>539281765
Drop rates for the new sketches desperately need to be adjusted, and something with quest probability too. According to reddit there's people that finished the story with max prestige but have never got Ragman's questline. I get that they didn't want everyone to be able to instantly unlock everything and be done after 5 hours but after a certain point it just gets tedious.
>>
>>539282336
Speaking of Ragman, I despaired pretty hard about one quest where he asked me to pickpocket one of the tailors for some documents, and I decided to do it while he slept. And I kept stealth running the house up and down because they weren't on him so maybe he stored them somewhere to sleep?

And then it turned out they were in the pockets of one of the random ass bodyguards that slept in a different room.
>>
>>539281565
>>539282336
It might be level dependent. I've probably only done 5-6 investigations but I got 2 sketches of the new best longsword. I got one on my very first investigation but I failed that quest because I decided to keep the sketch instead of turning it in.

In retrospect I could have just pickpocketed it back after completion.

Ah yes, the most visible spot in the entire castle. This is definitely the last place you would go if you wanted any kind of privacy. Everyone can see this exact spot, doubly so if it's at night and a torch is lit. It would be practically the only thing people could see. Like a spotlight on a grand stage.
Anyways I'm off to go on my suicide mission now.

Ragman quests have to be bugged, I had one where he told me I would have to pickpocket jewelry off a shop owner but after an hour of knocking everyone in the entire house out to loot them, no one had any jewelry. The quest item was a fucking statue next to a bookcase on the second floor.
>>
>Install the Realish series of mods for my new LotF playthrough
>Try a heavy weapon build
>Henry can now break all the low-tier Trotsky weapons in a few swings of his Skalitz Axe
What the fuck, how is this realistic lmao
This sounds OP but it's actually the opposite, as soon as my Henry breaks an enemy's weapon they go from bumbling goon to martial arts master and I have to watch these random peasant-tier bandits batista bomb Henry off the top rope
Unarmed bandits are 100x more deadly than armed ones with this mod pack active it's actually bizarre

>>
>>539299924
Well to be fair the vanilla situation where swords are stupid OP and every fight is boring isn't great either
>>
I think the combat in KCD2 is the weakest part.

Directional attacks don't go the direction you want half the time making combos unreliable.
Trying to change attack direction will often lead to breaking lock on which makes it impossible to defend against attacks.
Guaranteed hits on counter attacks make it stupid to attack against a sword and stupid to do anything but defend with a sword.
Parry riposte chains take forever and do nothing but tank your stamina for no gain making it better to just parry and wait a second before attacking.
Henry swings the wrong direction while on horseback making mounted combat near useless.
Enemy are extremely passive compared to KCD1 making fights against multiple opponents laughably easy in comparison.

I just wish they would have leaned into the idea of fighting multiple opponents being extremely dangerous. Turn up AI aggression. Lower stamina regeneration. Make it possible to parry counter attacks. Reward aggression by making parries cost more stamina than swings. Find a niche for each of the weapon types instead of having swords be blatantly overpowered.
>>
>>539278625
Fr i like the game but game is 8 at most if it doesnt have neither chuds nor wokies at disposal. At least having both means the enjoyment is genuine
>>
>>539302245
Yeah i actually think.combats in kcd1 was better, it was faster and more responsive despite the enemies basically gangraping you
It makes the options for stealth and ranged combats more justified

>Turn up AI aggression. Lower stamina regeneration. Make it possible to parry counter attacks.

The quest design is weird i guess they hired interns on overtime to hit deadline...
The alchemist quest with a riddle note is stupidly bad, all the clues on the riddle note mean nothing.
and the ragman quest where you helped a sculptor gather his belongings have same issues, you have to steal a drawings and 3 items but only the three items being the objective. The drawing is mentioned on journal notes. And the three items you actually get are two drawings and one sculptimg tool, not a brooch, a ring, and a sculpting tool like the objective suggests
>>
I wanna ask whats the point of armours? Is it just colletible stuff or can you sell them in sales chest? I asked bc i read somewhere henry can forge armors with fly help and i thoigut it meant selling forged armors and i could buy them at reduced price and sell at full price but apparebtly buying from fly is full price??? So Fly is just a glorified exclusive dlc items maker?
>>
>Start DLC
>Forge isn't even yours, it belongs to this old cunt
>Invest and do all of the work to not even own it
Yeesh. This better be a tie in to Henry owning his own forge in Prague in KCD3.
>>
>>539302513
>longbows are significantly less effective against plate armor
>longbows require extreme precision to be effective against armored targets
>crossbows have the power to get through armor
>guns can pierce through enemies with normal shot or hit multiple adjacent enemies with scattershot
There. They all have their niches.

>>539303224
I didn't like the story of the DLC either. You get one nice moment at the start and it's all downhill from there. The forge itself wasn't nearly as useful as it should have been. Kathrine's tavern is almost just as convenient, all it's missing is a laundry spot.
>>
>>539303881
>>longbows are significantly less effective against plate armor
It would only matter if they changed how poisons work. As long as I can deliver Henry Bane and/or Henry Dollmaker at a distance, how much damage I deal with the actual arrow is secondary.
>>
>>539303945
Yeah if the arrow should only apply poison if it causes a bleed.
>>
>>539303224
The DLC remarks pretty often that the forge isn't actually Henry's as long as Magdalena's alive, and then you recruit Standza and the other guy and it's pretty obvious they'll keep things running afterwards. So I'm completely sure this forge isn't Henry's ultimate home, it's just a momentary responsibility and home like Pribyslavitz was.
>>
>>539304057
...That's actually really smart and would make arrow types matter way more. Good idea anon.
>>
>>539251680
Not really. Rosa is completely comfortable with her status and the ways of the world, except for the part where she has less rights than noble men. As other NPCs put it, if she were a man, she'd be a perfect noble son. Hans, on the other hand, does not fit into nobility. He likes forests more than palaces, enjoys drinking at a pub more than noble feasts, hates intrigues and scheming etc. He's a free spirit in a cage.

I was looking for mods that made weapons more situational, which is what the realish mod series is at least supposed to do
Because frankly speaking, swords shouldn't do any damage to plate at all unless it stabs through the visor or something
I wanted a mod to make heavy weapons the plate armor killer and swords the unarmored killer, I didn't want anything to be trivialized which is what is going on in vanilla with how OP master strike is
>>
>>539302513
Why? It would make combat easier, it drags out because enemies take lower damage when they don't spend stamina, and it's harder to masterstrike them or put into vulnerable position when they don't do anything and just wait to masterstrike you. You would actually get gangraped less with this change.
>>539302245
>Parry riposte chains take forever and do nothing but tank your stamina for no gain making it better to just parry and wait a second before attacking.
Ripostes are meant to force your opponent to attack from a predictable direction and masterstrike them, Tomcat says so. It's a massive failure for 2 reasons:
1. It doesn't fucking work because the game doesn't let you change direction and setup for masterstrike before the opponent riposte you
2. Heavy weapons and halberds don't even have masterstrikes
3. Even if they had masterstrikes, they lack either overheads or stabs, which would ultimately make this mechanic terrible anyway
They really fucked this one up and evidently had no idea what were they doing and changed direction at the last moment with this half-baked "simplified" combat for heavy weapons and polearms.

The hardest part of that quest is finding a way to lose the matches. I literally sat there sword sheathed and the opponents just couldn't do enough damage to end the round. My stamina was blocking all of it.

>Renaissance man master of multiple skills who fucks and slaughters his way across Bohemia
No that's gameplay Henry
There's two versions of Henry, the one we see in gameplay and the one we see in cutscenes and actual lore
Gameplay Henry is the chad you just mentioned, but he only ever appears when the player is in direct control of Henry, and in some minor sidequests that don't actually affect the story in any way

Cutscene Henry is a bumbling pathetic moron who nobody likes. Cutscene Henry loses fights to drunk peasants and is looked down on by everyone around him. That's why, for example, even if you beat all the side quests in Trotsky and max out your rep with everyone, you'll still be imprisoned after the wedding breaks out into a fight and some drunk accuses you of seducing the bride. It doesn't matter if you, (that is to say, Gameplay Henry) tell everyone you're looking for the bride and groom.
It doesn't matter if you're stone sober, it doesn't matter how much you've done for everyone they take the word of some faggot who hates Cumans over you.

This happens all the time. In Kuttenberg nobody recognizes Cutscene Henry even if Gameplay Henry is the champion of the tournament and personally duelled one of Sigismand's own knights in his own camp.
It doesn't matter if Gameplay Henry is a billionaire with his own forge and a town he helped rebuild in KCD1 and all that, Cutscene Henry is a broke peasant fuck who can't afford anything.
It doesn't matter how many invading soldiers Gameplay Henry ever kills, Cutscene Henry will always run like a little bitch. It doesn't matter how nice you treat Hans in the beginning of the game, he will always hate Cutscene Henry when they're in the stocks together. It does not matter if Gameplay Henry fucks Hans, Hans will always leave Cutscene Henry for some noble slag no matter what Gameplay Henry does.

Do you get it?
Cutscene Henry, the canon Henry, is, was, and will always be a massive loser.
>>
>>539371303
The cost of being open world I guess
>>
>>539371303
>and some drunk accuses you of seducing the bride

>>
>>539369428
There's two different thief shoes, one is in the abandoned barn in Wysoka.
>>539371303
>Cutscene Henry is a bumbling pathetic moron
Not true at all. Sure, at times he's a loser, but he's equally a chad in some cutscenes. He beats Runt to death, saves Katherine, beats Zizka in a duel and nearly takes his eye out, stabs Istvan and pushes him out a window, saves everyone at Raborsch, saves Hans and nearly kills Brabant on the spot, saves the Jewish Quarter, kills Markvart, and tops Theresa, Rosa, and Hans.
I get your point that in some cutscenes he's a loser regardless of your choices, but there are some cutscenes that are choice dependent. Like losing to or beating the Devil in a duel for Maleshov, or losing to or beating Sam and his men when looking for Lichtenstein.
>>
>Daily quests

>>
>>539384704
Common men in the context of a good boss means his servants and soldiers.
You were too autistic to pick up on that.
>>
>>539386374
It doesn't
If Sigismund hadn't burnt Skalitz to the ground, then when he eventually became king of Bohemia the people of Skalitz would have become his servants, his soldiers, etc.
Conquering a foreign territory does not require you to kill the native populace, Machiavelli wrote that when conquering foreign territory it was better to destroy the entrenched nobility and ensure the locals had as little disruption to their daily lives as possible
Sigismund does the exact opposite with Skalitz, just because he's too cheap to pay his Cumans properly. In the long-term he would have been way better off keeping Skalitz intact
>>

That one unique armor set you get from duelling the guy in Sigismund's camp has relatively good noise to armor values, and a bunch of the brigadine and whatnot you get in Trotsky does too
Honestly I don't even think you really need stealth gear in this game, even with the hardcore perk that gives you higher base noise enemies are basically blind at night and 25 noise is low enough to choke or backstab someone

I think FtA wins hands down unless you REALLY enjoyed the clock repair mission.

Rebuilding Pribyslavitz felt much more satisfying to do from a storyline PoV as it let me give new homes to the refugees an my friends from Skallitz in a village that featured heavily in the main campaign, introduced Marius as a character brought back Divesh and let me make some rudimentary permeant choices about customising the village and passing judgements. Also became a major gold mine after the initial cash sink.

LotF is set in a ruin Henry kind of remembered in a slum, doesn't add anyone interesting or bring anyone back, choices range from "which brick colour do you want?" to "Iron or wood gate? Don't worry you can change your mind in 2 seconds if you want something else". Finally at 28 prestige I've come to the conclusion I'm never seeing a return on the 30k investment I've put in since Magdelena can't sell jack shit.

The DLC's for this have honestly been pretty disappointing compared to 1 so far. I'd put both of them well below even Band of Bastards. I hope they go all out for the monastery one least it will be a new location.

That's women's lot simply for the heresy trial. Band of Bastards wasn't bad it just felt like I was wandering round fighting a forgettable enemy, Do wish Kuno and that traitorous cunt Jakey had cameoed in 2 though.

When you put it that way I guess it makes sense why you can't invite any of the romance options to the forge. Hans for sure would get raped at the Hole in the Wall.

>>539452472
I just hit level 13 prestige. I was told at 25+ you make 1K per day from the sales chest, is this not true? Can you not plant your own herbs in the garden? Were you able to do that in FTA? I speedran KCD1's main story without playing the DLCs, guess I'll do another playthrough on HC and do everything this time.
>>
>>539457647
Its presumably bugged but I'm mid 20s and she's not sold anything in about a week and even then her last sale was only about 5 groschen.
>>
>>539458117
So I was able to get some money from her last night, it was around 500. I added a bunch of different items and it seems like she's only able to sell items in certain thresholds? It was a 500 groschen saddle. I have to try again but she might have a cap on the amount she can sell per prestige level. For example level 10 she only sells stuff that's worth up to 500, 15 - 1K, 20 - 2.5K, 25 - 5K, 30 - 10K? That saddle also wasn't stolen so maybe that's something to think about too. I'll try again. I'm sure people have already found out and made videos on YT.
>>
>>539457647
She went the entire clock repair story without selling a single item in the chest for me so I just gave up and sold it all myself
>>
>>539458685
Yeesh, maybe it's bugged then. I fell through the earth while looting one of the chests for the stolen item quests. Hopefully there's a patch soon.

Selling items is a waste of time. It's faster to just wait until midnight and rob all the shops.
>>
Has it been confirmed that the Sedletz DLC takes place before the last quest? Thinking of finishing this Forge DLC and coming back once the next one is out.
>>
>>539458856
You still then have to sell the items you steal. Also every other line of dialogue changes to how unsafe it is and that you should watch out

Mid-show break right now. Highlights:
- music sounds great, personal favourites so far were the Bakkhus songs and live Recordare
- one of the Warhorse presenters accidentally leaked the 4 million sold milestone, is probably getting strangled by Tobi somewhere now
- all the WH members and musicians (even those not present) have gotten massive applause except Dan Vavra. The hall just stayed completely silent when he was mentioned, dude is now gonna be seething for years. Note: The audience is overwhelmingly Czech.

No you don't. Just steal the groschen.
Did you really not know that the groschen is almost always in a chest upstairs next to the merchant's bed?
>wait until midnight
>break into the master bedroom
>pickpocket the merchant's keys
>open the chest near the bed to take the groschen
You don't even need particularly high skills to do it.
If you want to avoid items having the stolen tag you can also just buy their entire inventory outright, pay for it all to be repaired, and then take the groschen.

Show’s over. Other stuff:

- at the beginning Tobi called Audentes Fortuna Iuvat the motto of the whole project and Warhorse as a whole
- after the KCD1 concert Klima (the producer) supposedly said “I didn’t realize our game looked so ugly on the big screen”
- music was accompanied by extremely abridged game scenes. It’s a top tier schizo playthrough: duelled Istvan honorably, burned Maleshov, fucked Katherine (she was only shown twice and always with Zizka, so the sex scene came completely out of nowhere and it turned the end of Suchdol siege into wacky comedy; the audience laughed hard), got Radzig’s sword back
>personal highlights were Recordare, Agnus Dei, Kuttenberg environmental music, Hole in the Wall (the only song where the normally reserved Czech audience caught the rhythm and clapped along), Hans horse racing theme, Saint Barbara
- Jan Valta (composer and conductor) got two standing ovations, he was adorably happy

>>539465323
Years of rage baiting, being incredibly obnoxious on the internet (and pretty dumb desu), and the last hit was him attending some tryhard memorial of Kirk, where the other attendees included catholic clerofash and card-carrying Nazis (leader of actual banned Nazi party). It’s rumoured that during the last phase of KCD2 Warhorse kicked him out to work from home because he wouldn’t stop ragebaiting on the internet during work hours and it was pissing off the rest of the employees.

I don't want to spoil it but if you choose to betray Menhart for whatever reason, you can show up at Emmeran's shop and he'll give you the key so you can go through with his plan. It's arguably the best outcome since you can fuck the Germans and Menhart is a faggot that thinks he's better than Henry despite getting his ass beat. Also, I'm like 99% sure Emmeran mentions the theft because it paints Menhart as a snake who sent Henry to do his dirty work. Obviously no one in the sword brotherhood would hang the sword and taking it down would mean they would lose face.
>>
>>539480619
>Katherine sex scene
Embarrassing, at least Rosa and Hans sex scenes are tasteful.
>some tryhard memorial of Kirk
I'm really baffled as to why some people are treating him like an actual messiah. I think the manner in which he was killed was horrible and traumatizing for everyone there, but seeing quotes of some of the things he said is some dystopian schizo shit I would expect to see on /pol/. I know Vavra likes to be contrarian but it's weird as fuck. Granted I'm not American and I'd never heard of this guy until a week ago, so maybe I'm missing something.
>>
>>539480619
If attending a memorial service is supposed to be a point of criticism then Warhorse is ideologically captured and divorced from reality.
>>
>>539482973
Making a show of attending a memorial for some psycho burger influencer is absolutely bizarre here in Yurop, just like >>539482883 said. Ideology has little to do with it; it’s just lame and cringy as fuck no matter where you fall on the political spectrum.
>>
>>539483563
Look I'm not going to explain everything to you because it would take too long. Charlie wasn't a psycho, and if you think attending a memorial is bizarre then it's time to put aside what other people think and start asking yourself why you think that.
>>
>>539482883
You just admitted yourself that you don't know him. If you really wanted to know him you wouldn't listen exclusively to the people who hate him. You would just go to his youtube channel, click on a random video, and listen for a couple minutes.
>>
>>539485092
>Charlie wasn't a psycho
Isn't he the dude that said he'd make hypoyhetical 10-year-old daughter carry the result of a rape to term? Don't answer that, it's in a Jubilee featuring him video, ~18 minute mark.
Outside of Burgerland this is psycho. Not saying he deserved to get shot over it, but seems that that's how they solve their gripes over there. And as >>539482883 and >>539483563 said, attending a memorial service of a burger talking head is pretty cringe.

Not the "incredibly offensive" event I expected from Vavra to filter out the moralfag portion of the fujo fanbase I suppose. This one pisses off everybody.
I'd much rather we get KCD3 Hans rape for that purpose.

Stop spoilering your posts for no reason.
The issue you just brought up is a disagreement over when life begins. You think it's at a different time than he did. That doesn't make him a psycho. You would believe the same as he did if you agreed on that point. Psychotic would be having both the belief that life begins at conception and the belief that abortion should always be permitted. The only reason you are in favor of abortion is because you don't think life begins until sometime later. You obviously wouldn't be okay with killing a 2 year old.

She’s close to him, anon. They sleep in the same bed, flirt, Zizka kills his own man where the latter hits her, there’s a whole conversation where Dry Devil complains Zizka won’t tell him what their relationship really is, she’s the only person in the game who calls Zizka by his first name Jan, etc. Plus she’s named after Zizka’s real-life wives.
Either Zizka is so dense and autistic he doesn’t realise he’s in a relationship, or it’s a clumsily written excuse to make her available as a romance option for the player.

>>
>>539532528
Serious answer: probably nothing. Once the diagnostic criteria have been unified, it seems autism occurrence is about the same all over the world, regardless of the country's wealth or location. The modern world just makes autism's specific weaknesses like communication deficits, rigidity, and overstimulation extremely obvious, whereas a thousand years ago most not-retarded autists would be that one quiet guy who does all his tasks at the same hour every day, doesn't party, his family is vaguely ashamed of him, but the village agrees he's a decent enough sort overall and might even be pretty good at his trade. The 'tism is also immensely genetic, with estimated hereditability being 90%. If your autists are breeding instead of dying alone, you're gonna get more autists.

As someone who was actually there, the moment was legitimately ultra cringy. Not because it's not Hans, but because her sex scene is gross and the huge screen and the lack of context didn't do it any favours. They could have skipped the romance altogether or included Rosa (who was completely cut from the entire montage, literally not a single second of screentime) and the flow would have been much better.

>>
>>539638735
It’s just a bad decision to show something like that on screen in front of an audience at a concert. It’s the same thing as explicit sex scenes in movie theaters making people uncomfortable. Even if it’s hot in context, no one wants to see that shit when they’re surrounded by an audience of strangers, it’s awkward as fuck. Showing the part of Katherine’s romance scene where she’s sitting next to Henry on the ramparts, Henry comforting Rosa and kissing her, or Henry holding Hans’ hand would have all been received by an audience x100 better than uncensored tit jumpscare.
>>
>>539637538
I mean its possible but if it is the ending is one of the biggest cop outs I've ever seen. Hanush just tells you to wait until he calls you implying more to come, the King is still imprisoned, the war isn't fully over, your best friend/optional fuckbuddy is getting married, Rosa is missing Theresa is unvoiced cutscene territory, Henry is still a homeless illegitimate bastard. They could have at least given us a Dragon Age Origins powerpoint ending.
>>
>>539660547
>didn't even bother mentioning Katherine
oh no no no Katherinekeks
>>
>>539666310
Huh I did actually forget about her. But realistically there's not much suspense in that relationship she's the only romance still around at the end of 2 with not much else going on
>>
>>539658583
Personally I don’t mind explicit sex scenes in theatres in the slightest, but the difference is that in movies fucking usually comes in some story context. Here, on the other hand, you had nearly two hours of hansry friendship, beautiful Czech vistas, Kuttenberg, medieval warfare, Henry PTSD and missing parents, and then suddenly Katherine porn out of nowhere. I’m not sure if the video montage had even mentioned her name by that point. Then the cutscene supercut ends with Radzig and Henry’s talk at the very end (where the ominous Ye Warriors of God theme closes the game) and you hear Henry be all “no way fag, she’s so old she could be my mother”) and it’s just godawful storytelling. As the montage presents it, this troubled heroic young man just fucked some random woman he openly doesn’t give a shit about, har har.
Those who did the Kat route know that not the case, but statistically the majority of the audience (Hansfags, Rosafags, Theresafags, non-players accompanying their gamer friends or relatives) got this dumb shit.

It’s impressive how much such a short cutscene ruins the entire presentation.

I never get why people want Hussite wars for any final game it'd make for a shit ending to a trilogy. Everybody there had to have played the game. You don't need that much additional context.

>but because her sex scene is gross
It's not really about that is it anon?

The lead up to it is not especially satisfying or anything, but as far as sex scenes in games and old-ish euro movies go, it's a well shot and directed scene. There's nothing "gross" about it unless you're repulsed by het sex or female-presenting nipples. At worst, it's one of those scenes where if it'd played on a movie night with your parents you'd awkwardly squirm around and pointedly look at your cup for a minute.

Besides, we both know that the same shots of modded Hans that made their way onto Xitter were making fujos (including me, mind you) salivate. I've yet to see any of those get called gross.

In any case, it's definitely a huge overreaction to say shit like "Warhorse chose the side of the homophobes" like I've seen certain people say.
>>

>>
>>539751870
The difference between Katherine and modded Hans in that scene is society has decided that topless females are explicitly nsfw but topless males are not. A girl showing her tits in a sex scene is going to get more of a reaction (positive or negative) than a guy showing his tits.

Now that I've finished the DLC, I've gotta say, I am disappointed.
>House
For starters, the fact it's not actually Henry's house is a blow. It's just Magdalena's house, who kindly lets you have one of the rooms so long as you fix her whole damn life. A room that she hasn't cleaned in 20 years either, during which the most work she's apparently done is raise chickens. But then she also becomes so damn overbearing about blacksmith commissions that eventually I was sneaking my way out of my room so she wouldn't spot me and start yelling. I guess being afraid of my landlord is pretty authentic. The raven pet was a gigantic disappointment, the preview images made it look like it'd freely roam around the room, like it was genuinely a buddy raven that was staying over because it liked you, instead it's just locked inside a cage so small it can't even extend it's wings. Honestly made me feel bad for just buying it. Also the alchemy shack is completely bugged and unusable. The customization beyond that is pretty good, it's cool.
>Smithing
The minigame itself is unchanged, completely. Zero additions. Still can't forge polearms (other than Brunswick's), still can't forge maces or hammer. The new weapons are sick, admittedly, but you're gonna see the first one by the point you're completely sick and tired of the DLC. Doing the clock storyline doesn't unlock them. You have to finish the sidestories, which don't unlock at your pace, they unlock when they feel like unlocking. I spent several ingame weeks just skipping time desperately trying to get the right events to trigger. Also there are two things to complain about with the forge, one, Magdalena takes so fucking long to sell your stuff the feature might as well not be there, and two, having no storage access within the forge is fucking criminal. Or even better, just using materials from storage directly when using the forge.
[Cont.]
>>
>>539772170
If I remember correctly unarmed master strike comes with disarm and could be used on armed opponents and warhorse was angry at all the Shaolin masters running around
>>
>>539821204
>Story
The clock story is neat. As the central piece of a DLC, it's lackluster, it's not even more memorable than some of the sidequests in the release game. It's just a moderately moving little storyline, it doesn't compare with Brushes with Death. Also, I found it funny how much importance Henry puts on it, because I didn't get a single hint that this was some super meaningful thing to Martin. For all we learn, Martin might just have gotten mildly annoyed at the whole affair and then forgotten about it. The whole murders and plots thing from the Investigation quests seems much, more important in regards to Martin, and yet that goes without a single comment from Henry or even telling Magdalena that her husband was indeed murdered, and every step of that questline is just the same bandit camp hunt so it ends up not being that memorable.
>Martin
On that note, I was expecting to find out what did Martin do that earned him so much respect even from noblemen and that gave him this seeming authority on advising against the dangers of an adventurous life or how he turned out to be an absolute fiend swordsman fending off cumans before Markvart ran him down on horse. I was expecting him to have a backstory similar to Godwin, having fought in some great war that turned him off of violence but gave him immense experience and reputation. There's fucking nothing: Martin was just some blacksmith apprentice that *may* have fought one single regretful guy, and even then in secret so it's not like that could have possibly earned him respect, before leaving for Skalitz. There's nothing behind him. He was just a guy. There's no greater story for Henry to pursue.

All in all, I think this is the first DLC by Warhorse that actually leaves me dissatisfied. It could have been so much more, From the Ashes WAS more. If they do 3, I hope to see similar but better. Kinda hoping for a castle builder DLC, since Capon teases the idea in game.
>>

>>
>>539837740
>Sarah
Actually now I think of it her getting written out is really weird. 16-18 at most Martin hanging round the Jewish quarter ploughing a Rabbis daughter should have at least been known to Fly
>>
The forge is kind of disappointing as a player home.
>no display room to store various outfits that you can swap between
>no way to upgrade item tiers
>no connection between player storage and crafting stations so you can craft things without having to waste minutes transferring materials to player inventory
>no autobrew
>no stables that you can store spare horses in
>no visits from friends or lovers
>still can't forge anything besides swords and axes
>the other occupants of the forge become soulless merchant npcs after their recruitment
Also:
>the only new mechanic in the DLC is prestige which is just a way to force players to grind radiant quests before they can finish the clock
>prestige changes absolutely nothing except what things you can build in the forge

I don't know what Warhorse is working on behind the scenes but they definitely have their B team on the DLCs, if not their C team.

And the customization options are limited and many just color swaps

Shitty quests too, im still raging by that subpar quest involving an alchemist where the clue is absolutely cryptic and the stash is located outside the inn with 0 connection to the clue. And you somehow got an achievement for this

Its so painful to see the game being mocked for including jews, one black people, and gays. Those things dont elevate the story at all, none of which are major characters, theres nothing of value lost if they simply not include them. Bad move

hansry is lifechanging, not gay, i was talking about DEI bartosch
>>
>>539884121
All of the DEI shit was badly implemented.
Henry and Hans were never gay. They retconned that to appease the games journalists.
There were no black people in Bohemia. They added one to appease games journalists.
Sigusmund never torched a bunch of Jews. That's just fuel for the oppression fantasy that games journalists have.

They didn't make the game for fans of the first game. They made the game for the people who hate them.

>Sigusmund never torched a bunch of Jews
Ragebait faggots don’t know shit about things they like to pontificate about as usual. Back in my day, bait used to take effort.

>After the king was once again captured, Bergov, as Sigismund’s most devoted supporter, was appointed by him to the office of chamberlain in place of the deposed Huller. He immediately imposed heavy taxes on towns and monasteries and organized a pogrom against the Jews, contributing to Sigismund’s enrichment. A chronicler of the time noted that “…the Hungarian King Sigismund wrought much evil with the help of certain Czech lords such as …Bergov… and others.” That same year, however, the military response of King Wenceslas’s and Margrave Prokop’s supporters—drawn mainly from the lower nobility—flared up, foreshadowing harsh times for the leaders of the baronial league.

In fact, Martin is really barely a factor in the dlc, and the thing that's noteworthy about him is that there's literally nothing noteworthy whatsoever yet somehow he still earned enormous respect and fighting skills.

As another anon said, Warhorse probably completely forgot Martin was supposed to be a big deal.
>>
>>539925214
>probably completely forgot Martin was supposed to be a big deal.
Wasn't it just that he was a skilled mercenary and ended up saving Radzigs life or something so post him leaving Kuttenburg? Though granted given the current timeline he can't have been a mercenary for more than a few years before settling in Skalitz
>>
>>539927492
>Wasn't it just that he was a skilled mercenary and ended up saving Radzigs life or something so post him leaving Kuttenburg?
Who fucking knows? The DLC doesn't mention anything like that. In fact, given the window of time between Martin leaving Kuttenberg and becoming Henry's dad, we can't have possibly been a mercenary or an adventurer of any type at all for longer than a single year, with zero prior combat experience.
>>
It's a single player game, but how do we feel about using mods to correct shit that obviously should be in the game. For example, a mod that auto pulls smithing materials whenever you begin smithing in your forge only.

The five stages of grief
>Denial
This is often a temporary defense mechanism, allowing you to process a shock and disbelief of the loss in a less overwhelming way.
>Anger
As the denial wears off, you may feel anger directed at others, yourself, or even a higher power.
>Bargaining
In this stage, you might make "what if" or "if only" statements, attempting to regain control by making deals or compromises with yourself or a higher power.
>Depression
This stage involves deep sadness and a withdrawal from life as the true weight of the loss settles in.
>Acceptance
This is the stage of coming to terms with the loss and integrating the new reality into your life.

Well, if Henry could do it then maybe Martin could too.
>>
>>539946258
Sure, but if so, fucking at least hint towards it and what he did during that period. You end the DLC having no idea what did Martin do that was supposedly so cool and taught him about the adventuring life and earned him the respect of the nobles around the Sasau area, or showed how he was such a swordfighting fiend.
>>
>>539948097
Didn't he grow up in Prague, not Kuttenberg? AFAIK he was only there for a short period before fucking off to Skalitz after what he did to Sam's mother. I imagine they're going to explore all of his past when they let us run around Prague in KCD3. Trust the plan.
>>
I'm pretty sure the point of Legacy of the Forge was to retcon the first game's hints that Martin was some kind of adventurer in his youth.

He wasn't. He was always a blacksmith.
>>
>>539950958
That makes the most sense.
>>
>>539950958
If that was on purpose, then I think that's a dumb decision. We've spent a lot of years wondering what did Martin do in his youth that gave him the experience to talk to Henry as an authority on adventurous lives and how they're not actually that cool, how he got so good at fighting that he could face off against a full squad on his own while shielding his wife, why Radzig held him in such high esteem, etc. Being completely honest, the DLC doesn't even explain why he was apparently such a beast of a blacksmith that could forge the best swords ever and that even at Henry's best skill level it's just matching his. All the DLC explains is his period as an apprentice, and we never even hear of his successes, only his failures.

Ngl, the more I think about it, the more I feel like this DLC's "exploring Martin's past and legacy" was more just "let's shit on him so the players never again get interested". Only out I can see is as >>539950017 says, that all the actually interesting stuff happened in Prague and that KCD3 will re-explore his past again, but this time with blackjack and hookers.

There are honestly a lot of funny scenarios created if Henry heavily establishes himself in Kuttenburg society (the dlc) before finishing the main story.
>rich, locally famous blacksmith operating the finest forge in the city
>has won the tournament multiple times
>many other local claims to fame depending on how many side quests you do
>disappears without a trace for a month the night the Court is robbed
>just rides back into town even more wealthy than before wearing noble armor
>refuses to elaborate
>>
Made the decision to add the 50% dmg reduction mod, it's so much more fun now. I'm not 1 shotting everything and I can actually do 2 or 3 combos before an enemy dies. I imagine if I add the 90% reduction I'd have to use everything available.
>Potions
>Arrows with poisons
>Battle Cry
Anything else I'm not thinking of that increases damage. I wish you didn't lose fast travel in hardcore, it's the only thing holding me back. I can't imagine doing these stupid fucking investigation quests without it.
>>

Does the fast travel anywhere mod work in hardcore? That might be your solution. Also, how is that damage mod against very high level full plate enemies? Are the fights much longer?

>Does the fast travel anywhere mod work in hardcore? That might be your solution
That's a good idea, I'll try that after I'm done with this playthrough.
>Also, how is that damage mod against very high level full plate enemies? Are the fights much longer?
I've only had it on for a day or so, haven't really walked into super high level enemies like the guys in Opatowitz yet. Random encounters should scale up to my level IIRC but this single moderately geared bandit lived through 2 of my longsword combos while using the new linguini sword. I imagine I'll get my ass handed to me with anything more than 3 guys.
>>
>>539979245

Neat. I might try that damage reduction mod but I think I'll wait to install it until Kuttenburg. I actually enjoy the Trosky difficulty curve. I like the fact by the time you duel Erik's lover it's not a very hard fight. It's a cool milestone for Henry. The boogie man was just a man after all. .
>>
They just gave me a fur hat (14.5 groschen) for winning the longsword discipline after I "donated" 3000 to make the tourney happen in the first place. Let's not forget my 300 groschen entry fee. Greedy burghers...the dlc questline should have involved Henry getting involved in town politics via his forge's success and mounting a Machiavellian takeover of the city council.

It's a linguistic phenomenon called "royal we". Monarchs do this in royal decrees and such, it's just the norm.
>>
>>539988149
>>539989436
Want to add some linguistic smartassery for fun.
English has no distinction between plural and singular you, but most other european languages do. To show respect to someone, be it an elder or authority figure, you refer to them as you (plural). So the king, being the ultimate authority figure in a way, takes it a step further and actively refers to himself in plural as a flex I suppose.
>>
>>539989436
>>539989901
Okay that's cool then. I took a little French so I'm familiar with the concept of the honorific/formal plural. I was just wondering whether it was a specific quirk of Czech grammar they were trying to convey through the English dialogue.

Well, you find Prestige in the same tab as the rest of the skills and each level has an XP bar you need to fill up to level up. And you get XP as you do the quests, just like any other skill. You're talking about Master Henry, the newest addition to the Kuttenberg smithing guild, who single-handedly lifted Master Sukdo's smithy back into relevancy and who was instrumental in the repairing of the 30 year old broken clock tower.
It makes even less sense for the DLC to be anything but post-game. Henry was a literal who, now half the city knows him.
>>
>>540054630
>>540054976
To be fair if you do most of the sidequests beforehand even before the DLC half the city council comment they know who Henry is during the waiter mission. The DLC really ramps it up to 11 though Erik would have torched that place 30 seconds after finding Adders corpse

I only did one non-quest tournament since the update and it went fine surprisingly. Before the patch I had to time timeskips so npcs change equipment offscreen and throw stones at npcs when they got stuck. But I had my loop down and tournaments never broke completely.
Funny enough, after the patch I had to throw stones at retards in quest tournament (menhard vs burghers). I don't know how but while fixing generix tournaments they broke the one quest related.
Anyway, throw stones at them. In every weird situation. If they don't react, throw stones at someone else. And if your opponent doesn't have the correct equipment, god help you. If you can afford to reload, skip time when you switch equopment, so everyone else can also switch. And if it's already time for your duel, skipping time may not help, you may need to reload.
