One idea is to make him a bit like Udyr from league with each ability giving him a stance change and a double-cast for a unique ability. no ultimate, but lvl6, 12, 18 (or deadlock equivalent) would allow him to stack stance buffs for on-the-fly invoker esque adaptability. Double casting a stance allows him to use an ability. OR, default 1-2-3 type character but the ultimate allows him to change into a "mode" that alters his basic ability moveset. switching to and fro gives buffs/purge. which sounds better? this is a character with essentially no ultimate either way, so the abilities will be very strong to compensate.
