The rest of the resonators are in varying degrees of being optional. As for Galbrena and Qiuyuan, it all depends on how fun their kits are. I have no intention whatsoever on getting Chisa, even if she ends up being the most powerful character in the game. Generic Yamato Nadeshiko schoolgirls with swords don't interest me.

I kinda hate the echo system. In that, I mean how every new character gets a new set. For instance I have all these Tidebreaking Courage pieces. They seem like they could be useful for a future battery character in the future. I don't have Brant so they are just stockpiling in my inventory. They absolutely have a potential use case, but I would say that more often than not they will never be used by anyone else. Never say never, though, so I have them cluttering my inventory. We got a new 3pc set that gives a bonus to shield users. Nice! Taoqi and Jianxin stonks are set to go. Except the way the 3pc set is designed is so hyper-specific to the to characters that they are shilling it with that it's fuck-all-useless for anyone else. I didn't even know Augusta got Shields herself because they are so miniscule. It's just a requirement that's baked into her kit to active the new set. Obtuse fucking game design.
