anyone else think we're getting a route split like 3h? Alucard has a heroes weapon and is never shown with any of the other 3 protags. His class is myrmidon though, I wonder if it's placeholder for his real class? Niggerkid and glasses girl are the only ones shown together, and his goal is to save his father. Black KWEEN is shown as a Noble class in one of her scenes. She talks about power and the ability to lead her people, she seems more selfish than your typical FE lord. Then there's the dancer lady with the class Hunter, she has a bunch of dancer skills, weird they went with hunter, and her goal is revenge. It would be weird if they just showed off four distinct characters if it's a typical FE where you recruit everyone. Why show glasses girl but not give her any real lines or showtimes? It was very clearly focused on showing off the 4 "main" characters. I'm thinking route split. I also think Sothis talking to "us" means we're getting an avatar unit as well. The only question I have is will there be a time skip or not. I figure it will play out similar to 3h, the competition/games is on and we end up backing one of the 4 MCs, unlike 3h I don't think all 4 sides will have a regalia of "house units" and instead they might get one or two like glasses girl for niggerkid. the rest will be recruit able like a more traditional FE game. The games will "end" in some way and the routes we didn't choose will become our enemies going forward.

It's all but confirmed that the region is Dagda, which makes me think it's a sequel. Fodlan opened its borders at the end of Three Houses which explains why crests and relics are somehow there, as you can see Dietrich heading to Dagda by boat in his first shot. It also deconfirms prequel because Sothis was an alien that came to Fodlan and her chair is still there, it wouldn't make sense for her to physically still be there alive when the story takes place in Dagda. The chair being newer looking could be the place getting renovated after the events of Three Houses in her honor, simple as that.
