I find it amusing how getting Killing Game as one of the first routes makes people instantly despise Shion. I watch a guy who was really sympathetic to him in Route 0 because he realized early on that he's an obvious red-herring, especially after he helped Takumi catch Zen'ta Moko and would criticize Takumi for jumping to conclusions too fast, but yesterday he got "Kill the baby" ending and got so mad at Shion when he didn't allow Takumi to board the pod.

I don't know if route 0 is spoiler worthy, but I find it insane that it wasn't obvious to the characters that it was Eito all along. For example the dude literally tried multiple times to lead people to their death. Also, the rumor about Nozomi: you could have effortlessly found that out>Paper, write each name, day and other name>From WHO have heard the rumor the first time and at what day and time. This would literally allow you to effortlessly find out from which they have heard it the first time. Eito had to spread it around multiple times, because the problem is he would have been their point of origin. So no matter what he did, even if he talked to multiple people at the same time, the problem is somebody had to be the first one. Even if he directly went to somebody else, the other person would then basically say, um, no, actually, I heard it from him first It would eventually boil down to one versus one, and Eito would have been the obvious one.There is no way for him to actually circumvent that, because the rumor needs to spread around. Even if he goes to 3 people at once and talks to them, and they do it a few hours later, every single one of those persons has heard it from him before and then told him afterwards. So every single one of them would absolutely claim that he is the first one that actually told them this. Is there any hole in my plan? Even if he tells 3 people at 10am and they all instantly tell it others. Those 3 heard it from him first.

My headcanon... or really its more of an extrapolation but it verges on conclusions the game doesn't provide so I'll call it a headcanon just to be safe, is that the Cursed Cycle pulls their consciousnesses back to the start of the war after a variable amount of time.Now obviously this is directly stated, but Hiruko's explanation makes it sound like the default is that it pulls them back almost immediately after Day 100. I don't like this explanation for a number of reasons, lot of people point to Ending #6 as the big outlier where there's a fifteen year timeskip, but its hardly the only one.Here's my theory. I think the amount of time before the "pull" is variable on a number of factors, the most significant being how many are alive. In cases like the various "game over" endings, where most if not everyone perishes, yes, I think Hiruko is right that it resets very quickly.However, in cases where there are many survivors, such as Reset or KG True End or Coming-Of-Age, this period lasts a lot longer.Decades even. It's even possible it doesn't pull them back until they die of some other cause, natural or otherwise. I think it might only force the issue in situations where the cast becomes effectively immortal like Retsnom's "We Are One", though whether that's even them at that point or just the Retsnom cosplaying as everyone is ambiguous so it might not even matter.I like this explanation because it makes the individual endings still carry some weight. When the KG survivors escape in Ending #87, they get to live out lengthy lives before being pulled back.It's a bit like Narnia in that sense, where they live full lives until an old age but once they find the wardrobe again, they emerge mere seconds after they left, their youth restored.No matter where the SDU's paths take them, the cycle will always pull them back to the war eventually.This is *basically* what the game already implies, I just flourished it with some details.
