>>539228967They make camps around the borderzone, just have to run around and find them. Random patrols also walk around. Be caseful when taking out a camp, a random patrol can happen back to camp at somepoint while you are looting and healing up.
what are your favorite towns for trade/long term settling? I found a nice barman start and I'm willing to travel (from stoat) to a better spot, would rather pick an existing town/structure than deal with all the headache of setting up flunkies on turrets in my own outpost somewhere

One mod I never see mentioned is the one that makes dodge animations on martial arts shorter. Makes the whole thing feel so much smoother and you're less likely to get dodgelocked if fighting a crowd.

I've wanted to try settling in a town a few times but it just doesn't really work without mods because of how limited your options are, and even then towns in kenshi don't have a lot going for them, you just go in, check the bar for recruits, check the stores and you're done with it forever.
What is the prettiest crossbow?Yeah I know the Oldbows are effective but they are ugly as shit; the ranger and toothpick are quite beautiful, and the eagle cross-- its definitely grand, better than the old bows, but still not as pretty as the smaller ones

Every Kenshi mod organizer i've seen just uses a database to organize mods, so its typically not going to be very reliable if you use mods that arent on its database or just new mods. That being said, there isnt alot of load order specific kenshi mods other than like animation patches or if you use overhauls etc. Mod managers cause alot of game problems for mod noobs. large source of "waah, kenshi is so lame, it crashes every five minutes" or "alot of mods are outdated and no longer work, just look at the comments"
