Microprecision buff (tier iv tremor gift from bokgak timekilling) makes Meursault almost guaranteed to always win his clashes with his s3. You should try to change as many s3s as possible too with them.

As for getting them if you are doing MDE you should try and select all the maxxed out buffs as doing a full 50 will actually give you a profit starlight wise. Picking cost gifts at the start is useful but if you are afraid you won't get the watch you can get one for free by selecting the pieces at the start. The black card is nice too.
