Non-aura wards don't actually stop roach at all. Artifact and Portal both had great tools to clear you and both decks love entering grinds. You basically had to count on your 7-3 aggro match ups and prey on spellboost which was a very strong match up but always prone to spellboost high rolling you out like they high roll everyone.In this meta game crest haven is the only consistently bad match up you have to regularly deal with. Every other bad match up is so uncommon that you can just take them in stride. Meanwhile everything else people are playing is slow enough that Lilanthem just hits the board and usually wins single-handedly.
