ARAM accounts used to be a thing when only the champs you had unlocked + the free champs for that week would show up for you. So you could just buy strong ARAM champs and you'd pretty much always get a good pick. But this doesn't work anymore because you can roll champs you don't own now.However the reason strong champs still show up disproportionately is because rerolls and champ swaps exist. Originally if you rolled a shit champ then you were stuck with it but now you just pick a stronger champ from the pool so naturally the stronger champs show up far more frequently in games that make it past champ select. Even if you don't want to play a strong champ that you rolled it gets put into the pool and someone else probably takes it. If someone rolls Lux for example then she pretty much never goes unpicked. The likelihood to roll Lux isn't any higher than any other champ but the likelihood that she gets picked is way higher than average.

Point is if you are good enough to be Diamond 4 you can be "stuck" in emerald 2 due to pure bad luck. Statistically eventually you are supposed to climb out, but the way the "lucky" and "unlucky" teams are clustered and how the system prioritizes streaking means it might require too much time for a reasonable person to bother with. For instance, both my 1k games account and 100 games account are the exact same rank, and I reached it on the latter first just by having insane gain/loss compared to my main and due to getting an early streak of good teams.

The biggest issue I see in lower elos is Supports playing too passive, or not using their health as a resource. There are plenty of situations where you should stand in front of your ADC, like against Ezreal to block skillshots without inting. And every time the enemy ADC goes for a CS, you should be punishing them with poke. I was wondering why Silver and Gold players seem to be unable to play against Briar and apparently she's the fourth highest winrate champion overall in Silver and Gold. It isn't until Emerald that her winrate tapers off and people learn to play against a character that literally gives up control.To be fair I think a little bit of it is that low elo retards are unable of realizing when they can win a fight so they see a Briar at 30% HP with W and E up and their donkey brains just go KILLKILLKILLKILL.
