Since we have established that ~30% of known /osg/ posters are UIM, I have a UIM question:
I see a lot of people bag their spare blood runes, but I never, ever plan on doing ToB. Is there any reason at all to not just sell all my blood runes to Ali?

Obviously I'd keep 16k in the rune pouch for thralls, I mean the other ~200k from crafting blood runes for RC.

its a live service game and you never know what changes they will make in the future that will increase your demand for blood runes and the price you can buy them at
idk how far in you are but a lot of your slayer training should be done through barraging and if you sell more blood runes than you should and have to buy them back the downsides of selling them in the first place become really apparent

I've been in a loop of grinds that are necessary for my account and it's starting to wear. 3 days of mining sand and blowing glass into a week of afk crab. they should do grim tales part 2 and you have to get back up the glod, except you find out that the magical bean you grew in the first part was the only magic bean in existence. so in order to get up to glod who is all the way up in the sky you have to make a grow-me-quick potion to become 200 feet tall and then you pick up glod and throw him into the sun. but you if you dont have a high enough agility level then your character might trip backwards as youre throwing him and your 200 feet tall girl(the grow potion only works on females) character accidentally crushes all of varrock with her butt

There are grinds but they're pretty minimal. The biggest grind I recall was Insane in the Membrane, which is "only" around 50 hours (literally 1-3 levels for skills in the high 90s).
But as the other anon said, rank 14 in vanilla actually was an insane, ridiculous grind, more than most in this game. But very few did it (for good reason), and nearly all who tried gave up.

Jagex put out a new blog about RWT and botting. They are finally going to start going after people buying gold instead of just the bots farming the GP to sell on the black market. I don't know if I really believe them when they say they are going to do this, but I hope for the health of the game, they scorch earth and hard ban people for buying gold. The reason bots are getting so out of hand, is people buying the gold, there's a huge market for it. I'd love for them to also start banning those common people and discords selling services like Inferno/Quiver/Blorva etc. It is very obvious when people buy these things and I'd love for them to also start tracking IPs and banning the people doing it. I'm sure there are workarounds but, at least put in more effort to keep prestigious items, prestigious.
