I haven't even tried the new DA as I haven't yet recovered from that God Awful 2.2 story barring the climax sequence (All Hail Isolde) not to mention those abysmal new chars - Seed (can't stand her Eng VA & personality) & Orphie (the worst 5* wasted potential & pure disappointment). The game did fumble on stories before but chars were peak, However this time my disappointment is immeasurable. At this point, the devs shud resign & Hoyo shud close the game, sometimes its better to save face than count the notes (My last try will be 2.3 - Yidhari is peak design but if the story turns out to be still disappointing, I'll uninstall just after completing it).

idk I've only done 2 of them so far but 3 stared both of them. Yes I have Yixuan but she can only be used on one team so its not strictly necessary so to speak. Do I think they fucked up big time having 1 rupture agent and flooding the game with miasma bosses? Yes. Realistically we should have had a new one every patch (and a free 4 star one in 2.0) so that the mechanic isn't such a hassle to overcome. As for the HP inflation, while I know it exists I can't say I notice it in the game since I regularly clean Shiyu defense at max rank. I'm not a whale btw, I just bought the Welkin Pass for a while. So I have a decent number S rank character but I'm also missing alot of them too. I have Ellen, Jane, Caesar, Miyabi, Astra, SAnby (accidentally got her), and Yixuan, Fufu, and Yuzuha. SO I'm missing more characters than I have. My disks aren't insanely good either. Most of my character has decent sets, a few have good sets, and like 1 or 2 have really good sets.All of this is to say I agree they are making bad game design choices but I also don't think its the end of the world... at least not in regards to hp inflation. Im a dolphin since 1.4, I never been able to fully clear endgame yet because building a character in this game is annoying and painful af. Story is boring, characters look dumb especially this version. Half of the patch you literally dont have anything to do. I have my W-Engine and my standard char from the anniversary both lv 1 cause they are powercrept already and unusable. I am just waiting for another new game to come out to drop this shitty game.

Anomaly buildup was nerfed, Anomaly Res was buffed on the DA bosses, HP is up +20%, the three buffs shill Seed, Alice, and Yixuan. other agents can use maybe half a buff. New Disk set is ONLY good for Seed (Tested, do not run it on any other attacker, it's a downgrade). Support set is good for most supports so that's a plus out of a sea of negatives. I can no longer clear 9 stars. I spent quite a few hours trying and I'm calling it, I'm not putting another second in this. I lost an average of 10K points and last reset I was averaging about 25K.

You can simply do the mechanic to clear the miasma instead.I think it's funny that people really miss the point in why ZZZ's design is bad.It's not because of all the iframe characters.It's that the iframe characters are necessitated because of how poorly designed and balanced the fight is, and daze is, and how mismatched the daze is on characters.Take the new The Defiler fight for example.A core mech, giving 5000 of the 20,000 points you need, doesn't even happen if your damage is high and daze is low. It gets skipped. But it'll happen even if dmg is close to enough for the 20k points, but not quite there.Conversely, other fights mechs won't happen if you daze too fast or shock.The prior ELECTRO shill fight, despite being an electro shill, its mechanic didn't even happen which would get you tons of chain attacks and tons of damage... if you shock the boss - which is what electro does.You can actually fuck up your rotations in that game by leveling all skills in some character's kits, instead of only leveling their best damage, because you daze too fast and skip mechs. It tends to not REALLY be a problem since if you're M5 to overly daze, you're also doing way too much damage and getting points from that and don't need the performance points, but it clearly illustrates a design problem.Daze should have been a fixed amount that's the same at level 1 and 16. Shock should work differently. etc.It's just a shit designed game that's not fun. It's not fun because of the shit design. Your team being "too strong" typically makes the fights way less fun, like Yixuan is a key example of. But a team also not being fit for the content also makes it not fun. There is a very narrow range of team comp and build that makes specific fights actually any fun.I wish Wuwa had Miyabi.
