kinda weird how they tried to eradicate tunneling from the game even though tons of killers need someone dead at 3-2 gens otherwise they just lose in lobbies with survivors that aren't mouthbreathers. obviously the issue is people tunneling at 5 gens so the game is just over instantly and survivors have no chance, but the changes they reverted were across the entire game, not just based on how many generators were left.

>>539448978There are 2 issues there. Kaneki will only latch at you if he had proper line of sight when he clicked the button on you. The first issue is that the animation can only play a certain way from a certain angle, so the game will often teleport kaneki around to play the animation in the only way it can. Sometimes it teleports him behind something to play it so it looks like he got a hit through a wall, but that's just BHVR not knowing how to animate. He didn't hit you through a wall, he had proper line of sight when he pressed the latch button.The second issue is the travel after you press the button. If you get behind something while he is travelling, then the distance matters. If his travel is interrupted you'll get a mark but not get damaged. If the travel is not interrupted aka he landed on you, then even if you put something in between, he will damage as he already landed. Again, he did have proper line of sight when he pressed the latch button.In no way can a kaneki actually not have line of sight and latch onto someone. That never happens and is mostly survivors who have no idea what they're talking about crying.
