so it turns out a dex boon combined with 10 bonus points in dex gives a whopping 3 (three) sur. thats totally fucking pathetic and not even a third of a single sur substat. its the smallest trait to stat conversion in the game by a wide margin.meanwhile, spd iv combined with 10 spd bp still gives an entire substat worth of aspd and half a substat worth of evasion, so full spd investment is still the most efficient use of iv and bp. dex iv characters are just slightly less shit now so f2poors who are stuck raising them can feel a little better. dunno if that was worth every enemy in the game having their sur res bumped up by an unknown amount but here we are.

They probably overdid it slightly, but this is the ballpark of buff 2H weapons actually needed to be not just viable but good alternatives to 1H Swords given that you’d be giving up 3-4 lines of blessings just to do slightly less or equal damage than a 1H sword.Halberds/Spears seem like the best 2H weapons by a pretty large margin now though. Reminder>2H weapons now have better skill scalings and higher softcaps>2H weapons now count sources of atk twice. Your 200 atk in gear will turn into 400 attack instead. ATK% buffs also affected. Some players achieved 1k atk that way pre buffing>all buffs in game has multiplicative scaling instead of additive, meaning if you stack passives damage gets out of control pretty fast>def is reducing flat damage, 10k dmg reduced by 200 is still 10k dmgTechnically, if they just reduce softcaps and post-softcaps scalings, damage will be noticeably smaller but not too small and will be within expected values. But knowing drecom they will nerf the fuck out of it instead in panic.
