A stance based support, basically you play her aliemus stance and sit on that stance. Gives you more gen and retain on all your shit. Works well in lots of teams. Doesn't need dupes or her wheel at all.
>Hameln
He does two main things, generates insight cards and double casts cards/reduces their cost. Works really well in basically any team. E2 is a nice boost but not mandatory. Doesn't need his wheel.
>Corpo
Discard-based DPS. Works well with Aurita with the other two slots being flexible. Really likes E2 for bigger numbers but is functional at E0. Horla's wheel is Corpo's best wheel rather than her own, other options are any death res wheel or the standard dps wheels like blade.
>Pickman
Caro support number two. Not a Thais replacement but rather an option for second teams or as a supplement in the same one. Likes teammates who can trigger discover effects. Functions at E0 but like most characters enjoys dupes.

After this rerun banner ends the next set are the following.

Furnace scaling character, at e0 he mostly just generates furnace for others. At e2 he can be a dps. He is a bit old at this point though.

"support". Really clunky due to the quasar mechanic. I wouldn't recommend her. Lots of resources like to meme about her being the worst character in the game, that's a bit hyperbolic but she still isn't that great.
>Ryker
Pretty good, searches cards and makes them cheaper. Gives you free relics. Also gambling. Can be a DPS with enough investment but is mostly a support. E1 is a good stopping point if you run him as a support, ALL IN if you want to run him as a DPS(I don't recommend this). Shame he is a furry because he is a fun character otherwise.

After Pickman is likely G Murphy, we don't know anything about her kit yet but genesis characters are generally very strong. You may want to consider saving for her.

Word of caution, some people consider her E2 an active detriment due to hand clogging. I don't really agree with that but just something to keep in mind.

He's also a very good STR buffer, and his Strike/Defend are easy to remove for deck thinning.

Can be difficult to use alongside Miryam, but Miryam has moved onto Poison teams with GDoll anyway.

Worse than Thais for GHelot and Uvhash, better than Thais for Doresain or any character who has high built in Aliemus gen. With that said, for story content you can easily run both. Realistically Sorel and Uvhash want both due to their extremely high reliance on babies.
>Salvador
Caro's best sustain option, and with the recent buffs to Crimson Furnace one of the best shielders/healers in the game. Can outright deny incoming damage with his Rouse derivative and his 2 cost.
>Clementine
Ultra's version of Ramona. Only really worth using in Astral Reign stages where she can passively increase your STR gain by 5-15%. Very expensive to build (E3 is practically required to not feel like shit, and you need to level her Soulforge Aptitude which is a very long term project) but with that level of investment she is genuinely decent. Still wouldn't pick her over Castor though.
>Ryker
Main issue is his lack of actual teammate options. Ryker is a third wheel character that generally has a better alternative in most teams. Probably best with Kathigu-Ra since she wants everything he does and deck cycling is very important for her.

I don't actually agree with this. Miryam's rituals are cool and all but discarding them isn't a big deal. Or eating them for aliemus/HP. Not really, since you usually want to be playing that as often as you can anyway. The retain/prepare part of it is more insurance for turns when you don't have enough arith than something you go out of your way to use. It's rare you just have it sitting in your hand long term.

Basics of deck building.

>add wheels that do the same(rebirth is an oh shit button for if things get sniped, friend provides barriers, punishment is a full team paralyze, gift is a little bit more poison)
The game is heavily matchup reliant though, there will be times when you just lose because their deck counters yours. Again, nobleman staff shuts my deck down hard, as does an (un)lucky casiah who pulls the full party dispel. If all my poison gets cleared odds are good I just lose. Same for if you are running a say a jenkin team and she has her delayed batteries voided or hypercarry nuke team and they die before doing a big nuke with no way to revive them(although at lot of those teams run celeste as a panic button). If you want some example teams flare's spreadsheet has a bunch of high level examples you can rip and tweak to suit your playstyle.

I honestly forget about Ogier sometimes, which is funny because by all accounts he's the one child character who should be traumatized and psychotic. But Aurita, Aegis, and Lily all suffer at least some form of crazy (although Aegis and Lily are at least recovering). Jenkin is about what you'd expect from a slum orphan so 50/50.
