I think what I like most about monhun is how closely it mirrors the real world. We went from tribal almost caveman-like hunter gatherer villages to large scale merchant settlements to now colonization efforts into uncharted territory inhabited by natives. It's interesting how the ancient civilization mirrors stuff like the roman empire and how the cultures presented in the games have become much more centralized with the japanese and european cultures becoming the focal points. Maybe that's why they only just decided to touch on warring states with stories 3. Though this does bring up an obvious question...does this mean we'll get a modern day monhun eventually or at least something close?
