The "issues" people have with tanking such as routing and leading the group have been in the game since vanilla, the issue thats more recent that I have (and by recent I mean since mop/WoD) is that alot of tanks don't deliver a satisfying DPS rotation so you really just feel like a support. Right now if you play a bdk your top damage is just your hero talents with the tier set and it feels very automatic and Abit disinteresting. The healing stuff I just want to say that healing right now is very similar to legion (yes the expansion everyone loved). Largely the biggest shift from what happened in legion to now is DPS got better defensives so incoming damage increased as a result, so a lot of the agency to fix a DPS mistake for a healer is gone (the DPS just explodes), opposed to the DPS makes a mistake and makes it the healers problem instead (another issue that was cited in this "healer shortage"). From personal experience the healer shortage isn't a shortage of healers but a shortage of GOOD healers (most lfg groups can find healers for 10-12s pretty easily). For healing to be fun for good healers, that exact same situation would be too hard/stressful for bad healers (which causes a shortage).

It is worth it to even skip random reward and just to queue manually to ensure you get no duplicates. Dungeon quests are a fuckton of exp - something like Strat will just give you 4-5 levels easily.

I've been thinking of getting back into WoW after having last played in the pre-Cataclysm expansions.
