Divegrass Friendlies have FINALLY been announced today and will be held during the next two weekends (Sep 26th-28th, Oct 4th-6th). I've already made a post about this before last month but wanted to reconfirm which teams /pmmm/ wants to play against this time around: been thinking /hbr/ for the Pokelabo/WFS Derby and maybe /hsrg/ too b/c of X niggas on a line shitposting. Just remember we can't play teams crossed out since we either already played them last VGL or Friendlies cycle OR are currently ded teams until further notice (/ddg/ and /mjg/)

Also roster polling will start a few days after friendlies are over, so keep in mind of that too.

I get more value out of running guard on Mabayu. A lot of my parties don't have a defender and damage can get intense. Guard ++ EX can give up to 8% damage reduction for the entire party depending on enemy party makeup and Crystalis type.

I tested the tapping on specials trick during pvp and apparently it worked twice, will try three more times. My clues that it worked was that from what I know specials go in order of whoever is maxed from left to right, but tapping on someone more to the right(felicia 4th place) while left one was also maxed(rena 2nd place) it worked.
If you didn't do your dailies yet, try it out to see if it's only coincidence. Also try tapping on enemy turn if you get enough mp, if tapping is all it takes it should work too.

Tried again and this time I did something different. Normally my pluvia gets to special at her second attack, since it breaks the opponent Homura gets her follow up attack at the same time and also gets to special. In the previous 2 times I pressed Homura special and it worked WHEN IT SHOULDN'T since Madoka got to her special first. This time to test it out, I didn't tap Homura. Guess what? Pluvia used her special first.
It's confirmed, tapping actually matters, but you don't get any confirmation unlike other modes. Can't believe I discovered this shit because I was mad tapping the right character to use special during auto raid for being stupid and using the worst order possible.

this part of Scene 0 Film 6 doesn't feel believable to me.

In the anime Sayaka has this reaction after fighting with Kyoko and briefly losing her soul gem. But in Scene 0 Sayaka notices her body healing quickly from injuries and freaks out for some reason. The story uses the excuse that Kyubey told her the truth about her soul existing in the gem off screen which feels off.

Sayaka's choices in the anime that led to this same reaction made sense but not here in Scene 0

Dailies used to take ~5 mins and you could just skip everything but players complained there was nothing to do.
Now with raids and crystalis there is more to do but it definitely is more time consuming.
Hopefully they'll eventually make crystalis quest skippable but who knows.
I'm not sure how raids could be shortened desu.

My raid was 90% dead for 2.5 hours and not a single person from my union joined to finish it... and then it expired.

Film 4 felt more consistent and in character. Like Madoka's wish is a less powerful version of what she does in the anime. And they took the story in different directions. I wish they had continued that trend in the subsequent Films.

Scene0 happens through several loops of time where Homura and Mabayu try to find a way to save Madoka. In total they went through 12 loops with the final 13th being the original series. They released the loops, called films, in parts during the Magia Record release. In Exedra they divided the 13 loops in parts, with Part 2 telling the events from loops 4 to 7.

Focused on the original series, but originally released in Magia Record as it was the primary platform for Madoka stories during it's run.

Depends. Scene0 was completed in February 2024 in Magia Record, so people that played it during its original run or were aware of it already know what happens on it. Scene0 in Exedra is a rerelease and this rerelease is halfway done releasing. MagiReco Scene0 and Exedra Scene0 are exactly the same story with no cuts, just delivered recently. For example, the Battler stories were originally released randomly on a daily basis in MagiReco and the Nightmare stories are the Magical Girl Stories of the Quintet Scene0 versions (which were new units you had to roll for)

I didn't play Magia Record and I'm really happy that I read the scene0 story here. I've fallen in love with Mabayu. She's one of my favorite Madoka characters now

I backed up someone else's level 15 Link Raid and the Uwasa never cast Light resist a single time so I did 160k input. I wish I had that kind of luck in my own raids.
