You can create a superflat word with structures enabled. That would enable you to get everything that you would need to get to the Nether and End. The problem with this is that both the Nether and End generate normally in superflat words, but I think there are datapacks that make them both generate flat, too.

Like creative mode. If you want to build things without actually earning it then don't play survival. Whatever bullshit you built with 5000 hoppers is a completely hollow achievement because you cheated to trivialise the build.
Same as building a castle out of duped diamond blocks isn't remotely impressive.

I think the fundamental problem here is that regardless of whether you have wood tools or full netherite, the mining experience doesn’t change, mojang insists that the you go down and manually break each ore one by one. The only real break from this is tnt mining which not only exploits a glitch to be feasible, but needs a shit ton of set up and tutorials that the average player isn’t willing to go through

The build process also doesn't change whether you are fully geared or a fresh spawn and you have to manually place every block in a build. It doesn't change because its a core aspect of the gameplay.
Mining for ores does actually get easier because you get enchantments that multiply the ores you mine.
I'm not sure why people feel entitled to infinite resources at no effort in survival mode.

Yes, mining is fun. How is it not? The game is about mining, of course they made it fun. Is it not fun hunting for ores down in the caves, fighting monsters along the way, finding a large iron vein and getting 10 stacks of iron blocks, maybe placing a beacon down to speed it up. What do you even need 5k hoppers for? If you're not making megafarms in the first place, you don't really need them.

Mining is not fun past the first few hours of the game. Mining is tedious and boring. Especially mining for large quantities of resources. I would only ever do it with a mob switch on anyway, too.
