If you're on PC playing with upscaling, modding out the cel shading provides some much needed clarity. It's still present on the floor and baked into the gun models so you aren't losing the aesthetic entirely but the thick outlines on enemies and the level geometry doesn't play well with upscaling.

Specially with vile enemies that thanks to their invulnerability, have a fun habit of just destroying your clones who do not aim for crystals. The green tree's ability is kinda ass, and only worth it to increase your jacobs damage, you don't even use the damage waves at all, they only tickle enemies at best. Red tree I assume suffers similar problems than green tree, I started leveling with that and my cat was consistently killed before ever reaching UVHM, causing me to switch to blue. This thing is lackluster with the damage but hilarious to use. Most enemies when hit by it get knocked the fuck back and ragdoll for a while, even the random world bosses can't stay on their feet. Need to try it out against a story boss like sol or something.
And this thing as well, the rockets that crit can ricochet as rockets to more enemies, when you get a groove going its a tad nutty.

For the vex kill skills, I put one point in guns and needles, grave sights, 5 in grave implements and 1 in grave fiends. Because I have three points in Grave power most of these should increase an okay amount. Is this too generalised to have much of an effect? I'm going for a generalist build with the legendary witch COM mixed with the best defence, bullets are scared of me and one shot one kill to be tanky, deal lots of damage and use the shotguns with the crit knife to be unstoppable (or just use a different ordnance and get the crits yourself, that also works if it gets nerfs) I am starting to think contamination > one shot one kill, though. Any thoughts on this approach? I just want a build that I don't need to keep changing

Bottom right capstone doubles your overdrive bonuses, most of which are very strong. There's a legendary class mod that doubles them again, and can add +1 to the doubling capstone which makes it even crazier.I'd still advise putting 5 points in the blue skill that gives you more fire rate, and maybe investing some in green later on. Infinite mag on a high DPS weapon will carry bossing, and with slightly specific gear, your shoulder guns can legitimately do mobbing all by themselves, even badasses.

Just learned that quest/bounty/world boss reward boxes stay at the level you got them out and not what level you open them at. I had around 70 Vile and World Boss boxes from leveling to 50 from 45 and I was hoping they'd be at my level. At least I got a decent supply of weapons to replace my arsenal that I hadn't touched since 42. Got a Plasma Coil, Kaoson, Lumberjack, Star Helix, two legendary enhancements, two new grenades to test, Bottled Lightning, the grenade COM for Rafa, an off spec COM for my Harlowe, and a Timekeeper's New Shield.
