I think it's just nv jank and it can't account for vertical targeting sometimes, but it makes for some amusing gameplay. It's worse at long distances, but doesn't seem to be an issue when you're close up. With the weapon I've stuck it on, it makes for a kinda janky smart gun that goes apeshit whenever an enemy pops up in in front of the player at long range. Satisfying to see gauss rifle explosions dot the terrain before I can clearly see the target. Also has a bit of trouble deciding who to aim first at when there's multiple targets. I've had instances where it ignores the guy in front of me and fires rounds into a fence to hit another enemy behind a wall lol. But I think that's just because I've made the targeting cone too large. I'll probably keep it that way because it makes for a funny downside

How would you have implemented the DLC weapon bonuses for new vegas? If it had been up to me, I'd have added some of it around Goodsprings to repair, like the weathered 10mm pistol, maybe to some npc's for quest rewards, like maybe getting the weathered caravan shotgun from ringo as a reward for completing ghost town gunfight when you meet him again at the crimson caravan. Maybe some of the stuff like the grenade launchers could've been given to the viper gang at bonnie springs, so you can either try to kill them ASAP for a difficult fight, or come back later but have to fight the cazadores there instead for the gear. Stuff like that.

You can download individual mods and add to it - there are quite a few mods that overhaul individual appearances or race mods. I always find Wabbajack best used to download Viva New Vegas and then add your own stuff, same with Skyrim desu.
