Setting GF2 ten years into the future might have been necessary for the world to have changed so much (URNC establishment, new megacorps, etc.) but it works very poorly for the T-Dolls and SKK (it works for Kalina and others who joined the ranks of the URNC and who were very busy with that).There's been no character development from SKK, he's just been drifting for ten years (which is part of the story and happens IRL, but also boring), and any character development his Dolls might have had mostly goes out of the window when they abandon everything to rejoin him and just amounts to new/different quirks/gimmicks and some useful skills or connections.The original Elmo crew is more interesting because they have some mystery to them and unresolved plot threads in their backstories (Krolik and beatcatthing, Nemesis, Red Herring sorry I mean Red Onion etc.) and in joining the Elmo and truly becoming part of the crew they undergo character development.

It's a strong team, but I also didn't have much reason to really risk her for darn near the whole run. She can snowball hard where everything is benefiting from triple prowler shields/buffs, and tarantula spawns/halloween summon spam bait enemy single target nukes. Normally the dragoon baits aggro long enough for the tarantulas to start summoning extra mobs, and the tarantulas/halloween gates normally clog up the frontline enough to keep the prowlers from drawing aggro. Certain obnoxious AOE/random targetting effects that plague other echelons just get shrugged off by this team. That said, EMP grenadiers are a huge threat and Quills despelling your buffs/shields can cause problems. If the enemy is weak enough, prematurely retreating the tarantuals and swap prowlers in the face of EMP grenadiers might be sufficient to still get a win while avoiding losses. But a grenadier in the middle of a giganigga deathstack is a big problem. Certain hydra stacks can be a big problem too since many of them have ludicrous DPS where you want to avoid getting shot, and that doesn't play nice with a largely melee team.

To get the gold medal, you probably need at least 2, maybe 3, powerful teams that can basically clear anything with HOC support and many things without it. That and a very powerful mech. A strong tank helps too. There's also an obnoxious amount of RNG in this ranking in terms of data patch spawn RNG. 1.2M is unironically a very tall order.>PowerhousesThe SPAS team is the most powerful echelon, however you want TPS to be the team leader so that her buffs come online fast enough. It can comfortably kill anything. This team only really fears failing to meet the DPS check against ladon shield spam. Sniper fairy can resolve this concern. Allegedly toy fairy resolves it too, but I never fought ladons with my TPS team so I can't vouch firsthand if it does or not.The SCURS are your second most powerful team. Many players prefer using MP41 mod instead of qbz these days. A pain point for SCURS is an abundance of coeus enemies in this team chipping your DPS during the battle. I'm unsure if shield fairy provides sufficient defense against this. Many players use the new healing fairy to repair the chip damage after each battle.M4 in an exodia team is probably only a hair behind the SCURS. M4 exodia can kill a lot. But as part of the AR team echelon, I'd probably only feel safe using her against the inner ring enemies.>middle of the roadSome people reported success with team DEFY with G36c, but I don't have experience with them. They might be able to clear the medium enemies comfortably with HOC support, but I don't feel comfortable sending them into the outer ring without HOC support. Historically ringleaders like Alchemist or Spooky Intruder are our most powerful in direct combat. Scarecrow is a staple in ranking because her hologram enable efficient swap chains. M16's main role is to provide a global firepower buff to your other teams. When spawn camping the middle spawns that separate the inner from the outer ring, it should be possible for White Nyto Alina to reliably provide HOC support from within the swap chain.
