when the match ends immediately instead of even loading, normally that's because a player disconnected. but recently I've been seeing this happen, and the same error message shows (a player disconnected during loading), but instead of a DC symbol, it shows one or two survivors with an escaped symbol. is this normal or is this some kind of instant escape cheat without the game even beginning? because if so it's subtle enough that most people won't even notice

If you're left slugged for a bit, when you hear the killer returning, move a little and then stop just as sees you. Sometimes this tricks the killer into thinking you were 'caught' trying to position yourself for a flashlight save, causing the killer to waste a bit more time checking nearby.

What I find cool in particular with tombstone is that you have to respect the killer and you just know that not everyone will make it out alive. Shame it won't be a thing anymore.

They should buff Mirrored Illusion so that it can be detected by killer instinct and aura-reading abilities to trick killers into going to the gen with nobody on it. You could run it with Distortion and then a Dredge with BBQ will teleport across the map to a gen with nobody on it.

Why can't I face these guys? I get people who spread out gens pretty well and are very objective oriented.

I can't stop playing ghoul, he's simply the most fun. leaping is just fun. after playing him a while, and seeing for myself how strong he is, here are some nerf ideas to make him less oppressive:
-his ability to block the exit zone for survivors he tentacle grabs should be removed. this is very easy for ghoul to do and it can happen from very far away after all his leaps, really taking away a faraway survivors chance to escape with no effort
-ghoul should be punished more for 'missing' a tentacle latch point. presently it punishes him for about a second, but perhaps it should do more, perhaps it should outright put his power on cooldown as if he just broke a pallet. this would be annoying for him but would also force him to be precise and sure of his latch points, but for such a strong killer, maybe that precision should be a requirement. this would also discourage casual players and and raise the skill floor, making him a bit less common
-his iri add-on that basically gives him BBQ but with screams should be reworked into something entirely different. no killer with as much mobility as ghoul who can make so much use of BBQ should get to not have to use a perk slot for it.
-marks should begin to tick down as soon as they're applied, and not after deep wounds are mended, like they do when you manage to apply one without injuring a survivor like over a vault. this would make ghoul spend a bit less time in enraged mode throughout the trial.
-on top of this, the perfect timing thing ghoul can do should be what applies deep wounds. if he doesn't get the perfect timing, no deep wounds.
I should lower his strength without making him play differently. I wouldn't want him to play different because his power is so fun, I want nerfs to make him less oppressive in other ways. I think similar nerfs should happen to nurse and blight.

Ok, just make it injure you after unhooking someone, with no need for any other interaction (like trapper iri addon) yes you can heal it off quickly, but i say its better than exposed because exposed wont affect the ambush

do you play nice with survivors at times?
when i got into the game i used to always give a hatch, trying not to tunnel, etc
but as my mmr grew up and i encountered all sorts of shitskins, i started tunneling whenever i can, dropping last surv at hatch just to close it in front of him and mori him, just to hear the seethe instead of "ez" n etc.

took a break from the game, played clown just now (never played him before, took him for tome quest) - 2 kills, dropped last surv at the gate, because mmr is quite low, good manners, etc
once the game ended a nigger who i killed wrote a fucking novel "LOL LMAO EZ playing broken killer and still losing all gens" (while i literally spent first 2 minutes looking for a red glyph)
didnt even bother replying, but this shit makes me lose all faith in fair play. as much as i hate niggerish playstyles and manners (tunneling, proxycamping, hitting person on hook), sometimes survoids just fucking deserve it.
you never know whether it is a casual player or wannabe-comp seething sissy that WILL type "ez" if you dont tunnel, or "nigger killer skill yourself s is silent" if you DO tunnel
