Unironically the only thing holding monk back from being utterly unstoppable is numbers, and they are often kept mid tier because their toolkit is better than druids. You can’t keep them rooted, you can’t stun lock them, they can transfer all the debuffs you have to an enemy target, you can bait out huge nukes with karma and make them eat their own damage. Theres just a lot of options with monk and small brain players don’t like being given the ability to do anything because when they die the fault lays entirely on them. WW at least has always been one buff away from being completely broken which is why it’s always neglected

>>539948602the mist effects themselves are mostly pretty small. multiple fistweavers all spamming jade stomp could maybe cause a bit of visual clutter but it would be pretty minimal and be over in a second. the mist graphics themselves stick around the players they are on like a small fain aura. sometimes you can see them bouncing player to player, but they move fast and the graphics are small.as far as gameplay for mist weaver, the core of it is that you have a basic dps rotation similar to windwalker, a few kicks and a punch, and through passive talent effects and procs, those punches and kicks send out free heals to party members. most of mistweavers heals are what are called "smart heals" which means the heals will automatically seek out the party member most in need of healing. thats not to say the mistweaver lacks for deliberate directed single target healing, it has some of the best of any healer. where mistweavers skill expression tends to come from is mana management, as they can drink through their manapool very fast if not played properly, and maintaining all the spinning plates of their mists and talent procs. a lot of it plays itself, but you do need to maintain a few key buffs and interactions otherwise the whole engine stalls. they also have to play in melee range which can be a bit dangerous, and rely on melee uptime to heal, which can feel awkward depending on the fight, unless you build the non-fistweaving talent build (a viable option but misses out on a lot of key features) another really good plus for mistweaver is that it has an amazing set of powerful healing cooldowns with very short cooldowns compared to most other healers, so it has a really great and frequently available set of emergency buttons which are very easy to use and self explanatorythey also have the rest of the core monk features, which inludes a ton of mobility which is often a weak point for a lot of healers like priests

has anyone noticed recent problems with prot warrior threat below 80?like, i had no problems when i was leveling a warrior a few weeks or maybe a month ago, but i've started leveling a new one, currently in the mid 40s, and i absolutely cannot hold threat, the dps are pulling aggro off of me with thunderclap, rend and deep wounds all on the mobs, i have the 25% bleed damage bonus talent and the block thorns extra threat damage talent, im even having dps pull threat off of my single target focus after repeated shield slams. my gear is mostly current for my level, and this has happened now for probably 7 or 8 groups in a row. its not a skill issue, i know what im doing on warrior, but we've almost had several wipes now because outside of taunts im really struggling to hold threat in just basic ass leveling dungeons. it wasnt like this last patch. did they fuck up the scaling or what?

It isn't more or less hard to find a group in the year 2025 as it was in the year 2020 (actually S1 shadowlands was probably the hardest ever but thats just me), or the year 2017. Healer design when the game is in a high power state (legion/S4bfa/DF/TWW), is more 1 shot oriented and people don't disagree that making it less 1 shot oriented would probably make the game more fun for healers in higher level keys. Tanks just want to be the main character and do lots of damage and pull big and not care what happens to the group, the fix is basically to make tanks do more damage and also fix up inconvenient globals when it comes to grouping mobs. However even if those 2 things happen there won't be a largely meaningful shift in the population. Nobody would play tank/healer realistically if they didnt get a near instant queue as a result unless tanks are MoP vengeance powerful.
