Also, you need a very specific key item to even survive the opening blast of all the built up malicious energy she unleashes when she erupts from her "cocoon". If you don't have it, the cutscene changes and everyone fucking MELTS with the skin and flesh oozing into sludge from their skeletons until nothing is left but a piled of fractured bones that crack on the floor. The game has a failsafe as it warns you if you don't have it and you can farm an encounter in her boss room in order to reobtain the key item if you lost or skipped it, but it's still a pretty brutal game over. Elena is phenomenally well designed, but it's in a "PUT THAT THING BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM OR SO HELP ME" way. It helps that her situation is horrifically tragic.But tl;dr I think creature design is my favorite form of art and I am very appreciative and fond of that art and greatly enjoy discussing the art, but it's very much not a sexual thing (unless I actually do find them attractive like Harpies), as I just really like the aesthetics of all the different ways you can make a well done monster.Harpies are simply the best and purest form of this kind of art. Taking a closer look at her now I didn't even give her any skills that boosted her attack and the skill she does have that boosts her defense only does so by a flat +30, yet her ability combined with Ossevia still gave her an attack stat that almost rivals what Charis is at. Considering her class is supposed to just be a stone wall and has an incredibly low natural attack that's honestly pretty impressive to me, and this isn't even during her skill which doubles the trait bonuses.
