I think Kurara is generally well-liked, but she is a bit of a throwback to more classic style tsundere that you don't see too often these days, so a lot of younger people take awhile for her to grow on them.She also has the same problem as the twins were she never really gets a true spotlight. Conspiracy could have been her Retsnom but unfortunately it ended up being the Placeholder Route. I also agree with a lot of commenters, she doesn't lose the mask often enough. It's a really fun gimmick but it just doesn't happen often enough. Maybe they were worried about overplaying it but the reality is stupid monkeybrain connects easier to a human face and the mask being on like 95% of the time is legitimately a barrier for a lot of people to take her seriously.Much like the twins though, I feel she's one really good route away from being pretty popular.

It makes the character focus we do get feel more organic and doesn't arbitrarily limit a character's potential to a single route. People tend to go into this game assuming it's like VLR but it really doesn't operate that way.
