So I've tried to understand some crafting, I think I realised I've messed up by trying to start with Spirit modifier as it's only stat and now would need to go the route of adding 3 modifiers, fracturing (hoping for spirit), annul, and then chaos orbing until hit proj skill. Is this right?
Which seems far to expensive for me to attempt with only 7 div

So now I'm thinking only thing I could really do is maybe hit it with an essence of opulence and then just exalt and pray?

Getting ready to craft some end game rings for my ED+Cont lich.
Question bros:
Since dmg is so hard to find on my build i assume i have to go for breech ring that will give 40% increase to chaos dmg from ring.

I can deterministically craft either
>Chaos Dmg + Rarity of items (the only other prefix that matters on rings) Prefixes
and either
>Desecrerated random Hybrid mod Two Tier 3+ Resistance mods
or
>T1 Cast speed + T1 Skill speed + Tier 3+ Chaos res (And only chaos res)
or
>T1 Cast speed + Two Tier 3+ Resistance mods/Desecrated random Hybrid mod + One Tier 3+ resistance mod
>last one costs about 4 divs more to craft (give or take)
>in both versions final step is to add Life catalysts and eat them with omen forcing Life prefix (its literally the only thing that does anything for me)

How important is cast speed for my build?
How good is skill speed, what does it even affect?
How much life quality i need to be 99% sure Exalt will roll life

You need to add 2 more mods, desecrate (DO NOT REVEAL ZE DESECRATION SAAAR, unvelied desecration counts as mod but cant be fractured), fracture and pray to hit 33% for spirit.
Use perfect aug and perfect regal when you add mods. because who knows, you might get +3 proj level and turn your 33% into 66%.

I think you got lucky because now you wont have to spedn ~2730 chaos orbs rolling for +3 projectile
For future, its MUCH cheaper to start with +3 proj base, since you will need ~200 chaos to hit tier 1 spirit and ~100 chaos to hit tier 3+spirit

I'm trying to learn a bit more about PoE 1 in preparation for the new league next month and dear lord why do minion builds have to hit so many buttons all the time? I thought PoE 1 was a one button game and I picked minions because they're usually especially comfy. But with temporary minions, signal prey, flasks, desecrate, offerings, curses, convocation, etc. it feels like I'm constantly doing an MMO rotation. I should've gone with Fissure of Snaking.

ive made my entire ED build into a cast speed build, i think its just as important as chaos damage and spell damage for the build you essentially make it into a projectile based build and can then spec into the ascendancy 33% explosion chaos damage from monsters and you wont even need contagion at that point, make sure you get mana from kill jewels if you do go down this route it is extremely mana hungry and have a secondary way of killing bossing aka single target because your mana will be gone in a instant its for mapping only

The funny thing about poe2 is that it unitonivally has less skill and build variety than d4. All the crazy interactions in 1 have been reduced into designer builds due to forced interactions. Niche skills mean less variety because there is so much skill/build overlap it makes every build feel generic.

Theres cheaper way to do what you described (after getting Rarity + Chaos dmg ring you need to Homo + perfect exalt it for guaranteed chaos res, than homo+double exalt+perfect exalt to get Two Tier3+ resists)
You can just desecrate suffix, open dual res, and use Homo+double exalt+exalts suffix+perfect exalt to get two T3+ resists.

inb4, someone asks how do you get Rarity (prefix) + Chaos Damage T2+ ring base.
Buy Breach ring lvl 82 with T1 rarity in prefix (~5 exalts tops, 1 regal on live search), recomb it with low level ring (lvl 80 max) that has lowest chaos def roll. You will have ~10% for succesfull recomb,
Homo + Force Prefix + Perfect exalt, you will get only Chaos Damage T2+
Force suffix annul
