The worst thing about getting to endgame in monhun is that if you get filtered by a particular monster and want to come back later it's rough when you do come back because you're dropped back into the deep end instantly. So there's an adjustment period before you can even attempt to really try and make progress. It makes switching between monhun games rough if you're past a certain point in any of them. I'm not really sure there's a solution to this other than just putting in the time to readjust. I know they didn't really intend for people to play multiple monhun games simultaneously but frankly these games have such long playtimes I can't imagine this situation is rare for people. I wonder if there really is a way to help with this from a game design perspective. I guess it would help if the training room was actually useful for training

Like frontier possibly being there to test gameplay limits and that mantle being taken up by portable when frontier died out which explains why wilds now has counters. Stories to test narrative limits and now outlanders to test open world base building and crafting. It's an interesting idea
